Diaper Rash Or Yeast Infection?

The diaper area is dark, moist, and warm. Therefore, by the virtue of wearing diapers, infants are prone to develop diaper rashes and even yeast infections in the diaper area. It's important to learn how to prevent diaper rashes, as well as how to tell a diaper rash from a yeast infection, to protect your baby's skin integrity.

Prevention Is Key
You can keep your infant's diaper area healthy by frequently changing her wet and soiled diapers, applying barrier ointments, such as petroleum jelly (Vaseline) or A & D ointment, and allowing the area to air out after every diaper change. Using cloth diapers decreases your infant's risk for diaper rashes, because the air can circulate better through cloth than though a synthetic diaper.

Diaper Rash If you notice redness or pinkish red pimples in the diaper area, your infant has developed a diaper rash. You need to reach for over-the-counter zinc oxide cream like Desitin. Apply a thin layer to the diaper area 3-4 times daily, and then cover it with a thin layer of a barrier ointment. Continue to air out the area after each diaper change.

Yeast Infection
If the redness in the diaper area has spread to the bends of the legs and looks very red and shiny, most likely it is a yeast infection. You might have already tried the zinc oxide cream at this point without any results, so it is the time to consult with your infant's health care provider. The best treatment for yeast infections in the diaper area is an anti-fungal cream applied 3-4 times a day for 7-10 days.

Contact your child's health care provider if your infant has a rash and develops a fever, the rash is spreading, or you are concerned in any way with how the diaper area looks.

- "Taylor, it's my birthday. Can't you just fly over for a few hours? I haven't seen you in 3 weeks! Your not that far away either, it's just a one hour flight." "Babe, I'm sorry, but I can't make it. I can't just drop everything. I promise I'll make it up to you some other time." "........Alright, bye. I lov-" "I gotta go, bye." Beep. "Happy Birthday, Demzii!" My friend shouted over the loud music that was playing. I smiled weakly at her, and took the little box she was holding out for me to take, "Thank you, Smiley." I responded, loud enough for her to hear. She put a hand on my shoulder, then looked at me, sadly, "He couldn't come, could he?" She asked, softly. I looked down, and she took that as an 'Yes', so she pulled me in for a hug, "It's ok, Dems. Who cares if he can't make it? You should enjoy your birthday. Not let a stupid movie star ruin it." She said into my ear. I nodded, and pulled out of the hug, and she grabbed my hand and pulled me out to the dance floor. We were both pretty tired after a while of dancing, so we decided to go rest our legs for a bit, sitting down at a table. I smiled, "Wow, that was fun!" I exhaled, looking at Miley with a grin on my face. "See! You don't need Taylor to be here to have fun. You're 21 now. You shouldn't stop living like theres no tomorrow just because you have a boyfriend! A boyfriend who gets to go to amazing places to shoot movies, while you just sit around at home, waiting for him." She stated. I looked down at my ...

From Cute Baby to Rogue Teen - The Transition In Fashion Style

Most parents do not realize it, but the process of becoming a rebellious teenager begins somewhere shortly after the first few months of life. Babies are told that "this is how you act, this is how you dress, and this is who you are," through the actions of the parents. The parent that is armed with the proper knowledge however, can nip this in the bud early on.

Consider your own teenage years. You were rebellious, wanting to be anything but what your parents wished you to be, simply because they had spent their life telling you how to dress, what to watch on TV, and all the other "tough love" that they had exhibited. Do you recall how you rebelled? Nine times out of ten the most utilized act of rebellion was the physical appearance. It showed through mostly in the manner in which you dressed. They wanted you to dress all preppy and 'socially acceptable,' so in response you wore the generational clothes, in most cases of parent today, that would have been the pop culture punk rock style of dress.

To keep your child from rebelling and doing irreparable damage to your future relationship, start him or her off early in the same style of clothing that you wore back when you were a teen. You remember, the black t-shirts with such pop culture punk rock bands as the Deftones, Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, the Ramones, and Green Day. This will have one of two effects. First, your child will not feel held back and will grow into his teenage years without feeling the need to rebel, or secondly he/she will rebel by wearing nicer clothing. Either way, in the end, you, the parent, are the winner. Just don't ever tell your children that!

Shopping for baby skate clothes & kids apparel? The baby clothing industry today is vast and caters to every taste. Add style to your baby with a designer t-shirt, a hat with a catchy phrase or a unique diaper bag. We carry rock n roll baby clothes, punk children's clothing & gothic infant apparel.

3 Simple Steps to Make Diaper Shower Cakes

As you already knew, a diaper shower cake is a perfect gift in celebrating baby shower. The moment you took out the diaper shower cake, everyone will be surprise at it because it looks elegant and it has personal touching feel.

Why do you want to spend $50 to $150 just to buy a diaper shower cake the moment you can learn to make your own? By creating your own, you will be able to decorate it yourself and you will be able to add personal touch to it. Here are the 3 simple steps to make diaper shower cakes.

1. Prepare the required materials like ribbons, pins, diapers, rounded cardboard and rubber bands. While for decoration items, you can use baby lotion, baby spoons, baby brush, toys, and the like as decoration.

2. Fold the diapers and roll them over the rounded cardboard in a cylindrical manner. Then tight the diapers with a rubber band. Use Ribbons to roll over just like the rubber band to cover up the rubber band. This step is to make the base of the diaper shower cake. You can repeat this step for the second and the third layer if you want.

3. Put all the layers together and tight them up with pins. Then start your decoration with your baby items like toys, lotion, and teddy bears. Put some creativity in this step.

There you have it, your very own made diaper shower cake. You can decorate according to theme like for baby girl; you can use girl's teddy bear and use more pin color items as decoration. A beautifully designed diaper shower cake can grab the attention of viewers and considered as a favorite gift of all moms-to-be.

Is It Time To Potty Train?

One of the crucial elements of successful potty training is starting at the right time? So what does that mean? Unfortunately our kids don't come with an instructional manual that tells you when they are ready to be potty trained. Instead our kids will tell us when it is time to get out the potty and ditch that diaper. All you need to do is keep your eyes open and look for some of these signs.

The first and most obvious sign is that your child will show interest in what it is you do when you go to the bathroom. He will want to see and depending on how much talking he does already, he may ask what you are doing and why you are not wearing diapers like him. Be open with him. Now is not the time to be bashful. Let him watch you pee. He'll get the idea.

Another surefire sign is that your child becomes increasingly uncomfortable in a wet or soiled diaper. Your child will start pulling on his pants or diaper, or bring you a new diaper. He may even ask to be changed. This shows that he is aware of his bodily functions, one of the prerequisites to potty training.

Do you find your child pulling his pants up or down? Maybe he starts taking his pants off when they aren't comfortable. This, as well as showing an interest in big kid underwear is also big hint that it is time to potty train.

Make sure you don't miss out on this golden opportunity to start potty training your child. When you catch him at just the right moment, the entire process of getting him out of diapers will be much smoother than if you work on potty training too early or too late.

Prices of Cloth Baby Diapers

Caring for your child's health and skin is the main concern of most parents. Choosing the right kind of diapers that serves this purpose and are also affordable is what they try to do. Different types of nappies are available on the market, however price is a major factor that many people consider when making such purchases. Cloth baby diapers are an ideal choice for parents who have limited budget and are concerned about their baby's hygiene.

Investing in cloth baby diapers is not only economical but also allows parents to use them as many times as they want. These are much cheaper compared to disposable ones and only include their own cost and the cost of the cleaning company if you have hired one for washing these. You save up on the recurring cost of buying packages of diapers each month. A variety of companies are producing fabric diapers that are not only cheap but also allow your child's skin to be exposed to air. You can repeatedly use these fabric pampers by cleaning and maintaining them but disposable ones have to be thrown after each use, making them expensive.

People who use disposable diapers spend more money because they purchase a new pack each time the previous one is used while child fabric diapers can be used again. Different styles, sizes and designs of children diapers are available on the market and usually range from eleven to thirty dollars. The price of the cloth pampers depends on the weight and size of your child and also on the brand that you are buying. Well known and reputed companies that specialize in the production of fabric diapers charge higher prices compared to other smaller companies. Even if you purchase them from coveted companies, their overall price would still be lower compared to disposable diapers.

Purchasing around ten to fifteen cloth diaper packs would be sufficient for keeping your child protected. Some babies have sensitive skin and the use of disposable nappies cause rashes. To overcome this problem they can purchase fabric ones available in the market. Some companies produce these kinds of diapers and sell them at prices that are as low as two dollars a pair.

You should make purchases keeping in the mind the skin type of your baby so that no rashes start appearing. Purchasing cloth diapers is the perfect choice for parents if they are looking for cost effective options.

Choosing Girl's Swimwear You'll Both Love

Choosing swimwear for a young girl, whether it's your daughter or little sister, can be tough. You need to find something that will hold up to the wear and tear of a kid, but still be something they enjoy wearing. Here are a few things to take into consideration on your quest to find appropriate girl's swimwear.

Kids are almost notorious for how much they move around, and during activities like swimming, the movement never stops. It's important to choose girl's swimwear that allows for a lot of movement, without being too loose or too constricting. Skirtinis and tankinis are two piece swimsuits that are cute and easy to move around in.

You'll also want to find a swimsuit that stays on well. If the girl is particularly young, ties and strings may not be the best things to have on her swimsuit because it's likely she'll want to pull on them. One piece swimsuits stay on extremely well, but some girls find them too tight and restricting of movement. Have her try on a few styles, including both a one piece and two piece swimsuit. Find out what she feels most comfortable in and go from there.

One of the biggest concerns with girl's swimwear is modesty. Young girls should be covered up an appropriate amount. The proper level of modesty is usually something decided by the parents, but the girl should have some say in this as well. Many young girls actually prefer to wear modest swimwear and feel more comfortable in it. The most common kinds of girl's swimwear are one pieces, tankinis, and skirtinis. All of these are relatively modest.

Cleanliness is another issue when it comes to girl's swimwear. Any kid, male or female is going to get messy. This means the swimsuit is going to get dirty as well. While little details like sequins or rhinestones might be cute, they're not something you can just toss in the washing machine. If you don't want to spend hours hand washing girl's swimwear, choose something that's washing machine friendly.

When it comes down to it, the girl's opinion is what matters most. She should like the swimsuit she's wearing. The easiest way to get her input is to narrow the swimwear choices down to a few select options that you also like and let her choose from those. That way, no matter what she picks, it's something that you'll both agree on. Keep in mind the kind of things kids like: bright colors, bold patterns, and fun designs.

Purchasing girl's swimwear isn't such a daunting task when you know what to look for. Now that you know what you're doing, it should be a fun and easy experience.

Swimwear Place offers discounted bathing suits with a collection which includes: girl's swimwear, tankini, swimdress, boy shorts swimwear, skirtini and many more!

Yeast Diaper Rashes - How to Treat Them and Prevent Them

How do you know if your baby has a yeast diaper rash? Well, one of the tell-tale signs is an angry red rash that is surrounded by a distinct border. Yeast diaper rashes are also unusually persistent and may resist your best efforts to give your baby relief. It's VERY important to identify a yeast diaper rash because it needs to be treated differently than ordinary diaper rashes.

Also, if your baby has a yeast-related diaper rash it's important to make sure this doesn't evolve into a chronic, low-level system yeast infection in your child. Due to the several common factors, but especially the extremely prevalent use of antibiotics during the child labor process, more and more infants are prone to yeast/candida problems, yeast diaper rashes being just one of them.

As you may know, yeast cells are quite resilient and can lead to or worsen a wide variety of health problems over time, including:

*colic
*weakened immunity
*general toxicity overload
*ADD/ADHD
*food allergies
*learning disorders
*asthma
*etc.

This is not to scare you, but if your baby has a yeast diaper rash, you want to not only treat the rash but also the underlying imbalance that allowed the yeast to grow out of control in the first place. Otherwise, you may get rid of the rash but meanwhile the yeast is growing unseen in other parts of your child's body.

So How Do You Get Rid of a Yeast Diaper Rash?

The first thing to realize when it comes to yeast diaper rashes is you DO NOT want to put ANY of the traditional diaper rash lotions, creams, etc. on your baby's bottom! These are ALL greasy/oil in nature and will only worsen the problem! The yeast LOVES the moist environment created by these creams and will continue to grow.

Next, if you're using cloth diapers make sure you're using only the most mild, chemical free detergent. (Please, no Dreft or other chemical and perfume-laden "baby" detergents! The chemicals will irritate your baby's skin and compound the problem.) Even mainstream brands like "ALL Free and Clear" contain harsh enzymes that can leave residue in your baby's diaper and then become activated when your baby pees, irritating their skin. Not good! Stick with a truly natural, reputable brand such as Seventh Generation or Dr. Bronner's or whatever is available in your area.

Now, you also want to keep your baby's bottom as dry as possible. Are there any times in the day when you can let your baby go diaper free? Do this as much as possible as it will allow the skin to breathe and help clear up the yeast. When you're baby is wearing diapers, change them AS SOON AS they wet their diaper. (I know disposables are tempting to leave on for a while since they're so absorbent, but don't do this while you're baby has a rash.)

Finally, you'll want to apply a gentle anti-yeast solution to your baby's bottom. One that works quite well is to dilute 10 to 15 drops of Grapefruit Seed Extract in 2 ounces of DISTILLED (must be distilled!) water and put it in a little spray bottle. Spray this on your baby's bottom several times a day.

Girls Raincoat Designs You Won't Find Easily in the Shops

Although some girls might like to have raincoats that match their friends, most like to express their individuality. One way to solve this problem, at least for your child, is to get her an unusual design of coat that her friends are unlikely to have. The other benefit of this is when your young daughter has a different design on her coat than all the other girls at her nursery or school, she will have no problem finding her coat when it comes time to put it on.

Many high street stores will only have a few different designs of girls raincoats. This can lead to the problem of many girls living near the store having similar raincoats. Shopping online will give you a much greater selection so that you can find a more unique coat for your daughter. You will easily be able to find all sorts of patterns, designs and styles that aren't available in your local stores.

With all the different designs that are available for a girls raincoat it should be easy to find one that your daughter will love to put on and will want to wear every time she goes out in the rain (and even when it's not raining). Consider her favorite color as well as her likes and dislikes while you're looking through the available options. This might make it easier to narrow down the choices to the few that she might like the best. If you want to guarantee that she will love her raincoat, you might want to let her choose between a few options that you have preselected as being suitable and within your budget. Letting your daughter have a say in the decision-making process will also show that you value her opinion, and help build her self-esteem.

For a little girl who loves pink, you might want to consider raincoats with strawberries or fairies on them. Brands such as Hatley and Kidorable produce memorable brightly designed coats with a hood, and exterior pockets. They also have soft linings to keep your little one warm and comfortable. You can even get matching boots and a matching umbrella to complete the look.

Little girls who prefer other colors will not feel left out when picking their own girls raincoat style. You can get a green raincoat with ducks or one with watermelons, purple raincoats with butterflies, yellow coat with bees, or white summer raincoats with multi-coloured butterflies. These are just a few of the available options that you can find online.

Wellies And Worms are one of the UK's leading suppliers of girls raincoat designs for age range 1-6 years. Browse our vast range of girls raincoat designs now and find the perfect raincoat for your daughter.

Is Your Child Wetting the Bed? Don't Worry, It's Normal

The majority of children, within the first year of sleeping without a diaper on, will wet the bed. It is not abnormal, and like I previously stated, they should grow out of the habit in a year at most.

Research has shown that little boys are more likely to wet their bed than little girls. Although they should be out of the habit within a year, it is possible for this to occur until they reach the age of ten. Unfortunately, this is when it becomes embarrassing for the child and emotionally harming because when their friends find out, it is possible that they will be made fun of - especially when it comes to having sleepovers at a friend's house.

But if your child continues to wet the bed after a year has passed, you, as a parent, should look into a deeper meaning as to why he or she is still having this problem. Be sure to never embarrass your child...always have a positive attitude because it is very probably that they can not help it! The main cause of bed wetting, in my opinion, is that the child is just a heavy sleeper.

For most people, there is a warning in your unconscious state of dreaming that lets you know that you have to use the restroom. But many kids are deep sleepers, and do not even notice the signal sometimes. Therefore, they do not get up to use the bathroom, and end up wetting the bed. A great solution to this problem is to limit the amount of liquids your child drinks before going to bed. Try to decrease the amount when it comes to about 2 hours before bed time. This way, they will have less liquid in their bladder throughout the night and therefore less of a chance of wetting the bed.

How to Get Cheap Designer Baby Girl Clothes

Getting your hands on an entire wardrobe of designer clothes for babies is usually only reserved for the wealthy. Baby clothing can get very expensive is you want it to be sheik, trendy, and modern. For the average parent it is not financially possible to outfit your little girl with high end fashion mostly because her body will be growing so fast that you can't keep paying for additional clothes.

Luckily there are a few resources available to mothers and parents who want the very best clothes for their infant daughters. These resources however assume that you are willing to sacrifice your need for brand new clothing in favor of dressing your baby girl in trendy clothes from name brand designers. This may not sit well with everyone but if all you care about is the label and style then this should make buying a wardrobe of designer clothing for babies possible.

Clothing exchange stores have thrived for years in the baby clothing market. Babies grow so fast that just about every baby outgrows their clothes before they wear out. Fro this reason the after-market for baby clothes online and in your local neighborhood are usually quite developed.

Especially if there are trendy or wealthy communities in or around where you live you can usually be sure that some of the parents from these neighborhoods donate their unneeded baby clothes once their children grow out of them. As a statistical assumption you can likely find second-hand designer baby clothes in the thrift stores and clothing exchanges in or around these neighborhoods.

Of course you can't assume you can walk into one of these stores and buy an entire wardrobe of designer infant apparel but if you make it a habit of visiting these types of stores on a consistent basis over a span of months you will likely be able to piece together a great collection of second-hand designer clothes for your daughter.

A Parent's Review Of Huggies Diapers

Huggies diapers have been a staple for millions of new parents for years. During that time, Huggies Corp. have released several different types of diapers including their Huggies Supreme, UltraTrim, Overnites and Snug and Dry brands. Each diaper has its respective pros and cons. Having tried the UltraTrim and Supreme diapers with my infant, I can offer some comments that will help you decide which brand of diapers is right for your baby.

Are Huggies Diapers Easy To Use?

Most Huggies come with small (approximately 1" x 1") velcro tabs attached. The tabs can be found on the back and top parts of the diapers. These tabs make the job of putting the diaper on your child very easy. If you need to make the diaper fit your baby more snugly, you can do so quickly by simply adjusting the velcro tabs.

Are Huggies Comfortable For Your Baby?

The company claims its diapers are "baby-shaped," implying that the diapers are designed to perfectly fit the contours of your baby's body. Frankly, this is true of most respected brands of diapers. Some Huggies are well-designed to provide comfort for your child. Others are not. For example, the front layer on the Supreme type diapers is thicker than many brands which offers extra comfort. However, the back layer is thin. In my opinion, Huggies should have made the back layer thicker. It would prove handy for babies that are trying to walk. The extra layer would provide cushion when your baby falls on its bottom.

The UltraTrim brand is also a bit lacking in comfort. As its name implies, the diaper is very thin. That may irritate your child's skin if they're doing a lot of crawling. However, some people claim that thinner diapers actually allow your baby to walk more easily. It may be best to make your decision about using UltraTrim diapers based upon whether your baby is walking or crawling.

How Well Do Huggies Absorb Moisture?

Of course, a key consideration is whether a diaper absorbs moisture effectively and stays dry. In my experience, the Supreme diapers did not absorb well. Not only did I detect some wetness, but I also noticed strange white flakes and grains that came from the diaper on my child's skin. On the other hand, the UltraTrim diapers had a great sponge factor. I never noticed any residual wetness or leakages from the diaper (nor any flakes!). In my experience, the UltraTrims have much better absorption than the Supreme diapers.

My Last Thoughts On Huggies Diapers

Huggies diapers aren't cheap. In fact, they're one of the higher-priced diaper brands on the market. As babies go through diapers quickly, using Huggies could prove very costly. A few of my friends have used Huggies and thought that they were good diapers but not worth the hefty price tag. That said, if you can find a coupon for a discount or even a way to get free Huggies diapers, definitely take advantage of it. You may find that the brand is a perfect fit for your child.

Learn to Know How Many Organic Cloth Diapers You Need to Possess

The number of organic cloth diapers you need to have basically depends on the age of your baby and the frequency of washing it on a regular duration. As your baby grows, you will basically require fewer in each size. The type of organic cloth diaper will also be dependent on the number of diapers you may require.

If your baby is a heavy wetter, you will need more diapers. You can also extend the absorbency with the use of a doubler or a prefold. You can also utilize newborn prefolds as doublers for babies. Some parents utilizes hemp and microfiber pocket insert combo that ensures your child to stay dry at night and during long hours of sleep.

On the other hand, one size organic cloth diaper are in demand as of the moment, a lot of parents still choose the less massive fit of sized diapers. This is because of the fact that your child will only require two sizes and will necessitate only few larger sizes and that is if they happen to get large. Organic cloth diapers are still a superb choice for parents.

Organic cloth diapering will bank you a lot of savings, however, we cannot deny the fact that upfront venture can be rattling for parents who are not decided if organic cloth diaper are the excellent choice for their children. It is not advised to buy everything in one purchase, if you are on a tight budget, you can purchase a one day requirement and then you can add more next time you have extra funds. Instead of spending it to disposables, bank it to buy more diapers until you come up with the proper requirement. However, it is best advised to acquire some extras for some unavoidable circumstances. It is very essential to have a spare on hand when washing dirty organic cloth diapers. For babies up to six months, you will probably utilize ten to twelve diapers in a day. For babies from one to two years old, you will probably require six to eight diapers in a day. However, for children during their potty learning years, they basically need two to four diapers in a day.

It is also essential that you require having one diaper cover for every 2 to 4 diapers you possess. Some of the diaper covers can be used again for several times by hanging them out between changes. But if they are already dirty, do not use them. It is always an excellent idea to have more than one diaper cover because one might get bad during unavoidable situations.

Diaper covers in wool are also an excellent cover that can go a long way. You just have to ensure that you are doing the proper way of washing them. There is a proper way on how to launder and clean organic cloth diapers.

Why Not Pink?

The recent warm weather and burst of spring showers had prompted my son into a desire for puddle jumping. Of course, the rubber boots he donned last year were far from fitting onto his now three-year-old toes, so off to the store we went to get a new pair.

Not thinking and trying to multi-task, Dad came along and so did little sister. With the plan to get groceries, a baby shower gift and a new pair of boots, we had to visit three different stores. Food was first, as it keeps the toddler snacking and amused, and Dad likes the illusion of getting things done as he fills the cart and checks items off his invisible list.

With our double stroller holding our coats, diaper bag, water bottles, wet wipes, rattle for the little one and new Dora video for the bigger one, Dad and I had to meander as best we could onto our next errand. Of course, he has the cart with all of the food, 25 rolls of toilet paper, Kleenex boxes, bleach, diapers and even more wipes, so we proceeded like a convoy.

I knew exactly what I was getting for a gift, so Dad stood outside with the crew as I zoomed in to quickly check off another thing on my list. Of course, the store was busy and the sales girls did not really notice as I stood patiently (yet impatiently) waiting to pay. Finally, I asked for help as I heard my baby start to fuss. Dad is never good with the fussing, he usually lets it go for too long and it passes the point where you can amuse her again.

I paid as fast as I could, glancing back at my husband and son eating Japanese oranges, my husband oblivious to the fusses as my son flicks stringy bits of orange at his sister.

With two errands down and one to go, I amused the baby with a granola wrapper crinkling in her hands, then made the dreaded mistake of removing my son from the stroller as we took over the small space in the shoe store.

On the shelf I saw a perfect pair of navy blue rubber boots. Dad had his cell in his ear as I looked for my son's size and told him to remove his old shoes. The two seconds when I had my back turned resulted in my son running to a different shelf and, with the thrill only a three your old can exude, he shouted, uninhibited, "Mom, I want these ones!"

Happily, I turned to see him holding a lovely pair of Dora the Explorer rubber boots, all in pink with lavender soles. A moment passed before I could respond, while he kicked off his shoes and wiggled into the boots.

Now I know that his attraction is to Dora, the famous cartoon character every kids loves, and these boots represent adventure, friendship and exploring. But the boots just happened to be flamingo pink. I immediately and without thinking pointed to the Diego boots (denim blue and orange)--they are more masculine, of course.

"No, these one Mommy," he insisted, as he stood to admire them in the mirror.

It was one of those moments where one has to think before they speak. How do I say no to something he so obviously loves, and what is my reasoning for not allowing his choice? How can I say it is the wrong colour, or it does not look right, when the smile on his face is what every parents wants? My pause went unnoticed as my son put his old shoes in the stroller and walked to the register to pay. As he stood waiting for me to hand him some money, I stared, unsure and confused if I should do something to try and change his mind.

Then I thought to myself: What the heck, why not? He's three. Who'll care? His friends are too small to make fun of him and if he is confident enough to wear them, then I should be confident enough to let him.

All of my childhood issues over my own parent's judgments and rules crept to the surface. Then and there, I decided that I would not teach my son gender labelling and would not diminish his confidence.

I reached for my wallet, now willing to pay.

There was a momentous song playing in my head, and it came to a screeching halt as my husband, now off the phone, asked me, "What the hell are you doing?"

Before I could begin my liberation and free rights speech, my husband had my son on his lap, pulling off the boots and tossing them aside. In a flash, the calmness of what was once a happy toddler erupted into the screams and kicks of a child not capable of understanding the reasoning and rationale behind daddy's disapproval. Needless to say, mall security might have been called in to make sure that the screaming, hysterical kid actually belonged to us, and that the ear-shattering crying wasn't from pain, but out of determination to get his own way.

The car ride home was not pleasant as my husband and I debated the issue. Why not pink for boys? Girls wear blue.

"Colour is not a billboard, and wearing pink boots doesn't say, 'I am girly'," I said.

"You should have chosen blue one--that's what he's supposed to wear," my husband countered.

Maybe it is extreme to allow a boy to wear pink boots when society, commercialism and the entire baby clothing market has invested millions into conditioning us to associate that girls wear pink and boys wear blue. It's the norm, the cog that keeps moving season after season in the retail market. Yet as parents are we even responsible for saying that this 'norm' should be different or challenged, changed around or eliminated?

In the 20 years that I have been aware of social issues I have seen numerous social customs and traditions obliterated on the heels of change, acceptance, recognition and enlightenment. Girls play hockey, rugby and lacrosse--all sports unavailable to me when I was a child. But although we are changing and evolving, we still start our kids out in pink and blue, perfect in their assigned colours. Then we teach them that there is not a barrier, that boys and girls are equal and can do the same things. They can vote, and play sports, be presidents and defend countries, but (of course!) they should do all of that wearing the right colours.

Possibly, I could have fought a little harder to let him have the pink boots. Definitely, I should have been prepared to fight for those pink boots, known what it was that I stood for and where my opinion laid. Most importantly, I would have liked to have avoided the scene, the confusion and the extremeness in which it happened that seems to have stayed in his mind.

"Why not pink, Mommy?" he asks in his innocent way.

"I don't know why," is all I can reply for now. Let's hope that change is working on this one.

5 Reasons Why Your Baby Needs a Swim Diaper

If you have kids and love going swimming and splashing around with them chances are you are already aware most pools now require that little children wear swim pants. Read about the 5 most important reasons your baby needs a swim diaper.

  1. If your baby or toddler is not perfectly potty trained then you definitely want to put him in a swim diaper so you don't have to worry about any accidents in the water.

  2. Regular disposable or washable diaper won't do because what they do is to absorb liquids as much as they could so don't make this mistake. Letting your baby with a regular diaper in the pool is not the right thing - it is not safe for your kid and there is a risk of clogging the pool filters.

  3. Some brands of swim diapers claim that their product helps reducing the risk of bacteria spread (especially E. coli) in the water so by putting your baby in a swimming diaper you are actually showing social engagement.

  4. Swim diapers come in a great variety of colors and patterns and babies look really cute when they wear them. You can make your girl look like a little mermaid or your boy look just like professional swimmer. The only problem you will face is actually make a choice, they really look amazing and cool.

  5. If a poo lands on the bottom of the pool the pool has to be closed for a treatment that is expensive and time consuming.

You don't want to be remembered as the mother of the child who ruined everyone's great pleasure at the local pool, do you? Choose the best swim diapers for you baby at swimdiaper.org now. No matter if you prefer disposable or reusable - we've got them all for your little swimmer.

A Little About Newborn Baby Clothes

Every new baby needs newborn baby clothes. Before you are even permitted to take the baby out of the hospital you have to make sure that you have a change of clothes ready for the baby. Most families purchase their newborn baby clothes long before the baby is even born.

While some families may wait until they know which gender the baby will be others prefer not knowing the baby's gender until birth and therefore purchase newborn baby clothes which can be used by either gender. But no matter how you choose to look at it is important to know that before you even go into the hospital for the delivery of the child you have to make sure that you already have newborn baby clothes on hand.

There are so many options to choose from when it comes to getting these clothes for your baby. You will be needing things like hats and that as well as booties, shorts and shirts. Furthermore, you will also need things like blankets and towels as well. While these may not seem to be part of your standard concept of what makes newborn baby clothes, you'll come to a realization the moment you received the list of things that you will need from the doctor that these two particular items will also need to be included with your purchases.

Is important to make sure that what you get is all natural cotton fabric because they newborn baby may be allergic to certain types of fabrics and you do not need the baby to develop an allergic reaction before you even take it home. The good news is though, that generally the first couple of sets of clothing that you will purchase for your baby are actually affordable. Just make sure that they are easy to use because your baby will be wearing diapers as well as still have the umbilical cord attached for the first couple of weeks after the birth.

Some adults still own the baby blanket they had when they were infants, which goes to show that quality counts in this area. Spending a little extra on newborn baby clothing and such like pays off in the long run.

AIO Cloth Diapers

Generally we want for our babies, all the comforts possible when it comes, to food, clothing, furniture and most when it comes to diapers. Everywhere we see ads for all kinds of diapers, that promises us miracles, but in the end, they all leave behind an irritated skin, or remove unsightly odors. So what can we do about this, because all our children suffer and do not understand very well why they have to go through all this.

In this article we try to present a unique alternative to usual diapers, that might delight you, and if you decide to use them, most likely you will be very happy, and if you try it on your baby, you will receive the wanted and expected comfort. It's about aio cloth diapers. That means all in one. These diapers are called so, because it is both a diaper and a covering, both in the same object. The cover is already sewn onto the diaper area, so we do not need another outfit. I recommend cotton diapers aio. Because they are 100% cotton, with no polyester filling, and very easy to use.

Mounting modules is the same as the normal diapers, so it is very simple and safe. Generally they are very durable and soft. They consist in six layers. Four of them are 100% cotton terry and the other two are 100% cotton flannel. They absorb very well and are very easily to wash and reused. I think this is the best material for the manufacture of diapers, because cotton is a good absorptive, it does not eliminate odors and is very soft, plus they leave your baby skin to breathe. Besides do not forget that is a material of natural fibers and hypoallergenic.

We can find sizes such as: x small-that can support a weight between 4 and 10 pounds, small-for weights between 10 and 19 pounds, medium-weight - for children between 19 and 30 pounds, medium long- 22 and 33 pounds or large-between 28 and 50 pounds. These diapers prevent leaks, and we can say goodbye to baby skin irritation. Indeed, may be more expensive than the usual, but I think that is a good investment, and besides that are reusable, so you could even make a saving.

Justin write about just about anything all over the internet for the pure joy of it. There are few things more rewarding then sharing knowledge with people around the globe and getting feedback from them. If you want to read about random stuff like aio cloth diapers or cloth baby diapers then you've found your man... so enjoy the read and feel free to check out my other articles. AD Part 1,1,1,1,2

Part 1 Part 2 Back www.youtube.com Beginning www.youtube.com Link www.writing.com Cream felt pressure build up in her bladder. "I can hold it....Amy's bathroom is right there. I'll just use when we're done." She thought. It wasn't a bad need at all. As the girls did some more things, Cream's urge became a bit larger. She swayed back and forth a little. It didn't bother her though. She liked feeling desperate to pee. It was one of her fetishes along with wearing diapers. So, she continued to hold on. A few hours passed, and Cream's urge was getting pretty high. When Amy wasn't looking, she would hold her crotch from under her dress to help hold back the flood. She knew she couldn't hold it much longer now, so she asked. "Amy....could I use the bathroom?" "Sorry Cream...my bathroom's getting remodeled. There's no access to it for a few days." This made Cream almost fill up with tears. "I guess this is why Amy wore diapers." She thought. "Wait a minute! If I could just get Amy to give me one of her diapers, I would be safe!" "Uhhh...Amy....if your bathroom has not access to it, then how do you use the bathroom?" Cream asked, already knowing the answer. "Well...uh....I...." Amy studdered. "I wear diapers....." "Really?" Cream said, trying to sound surprised. Then, her bladder kicked in again, ans she bent over holder her crotch tight, moaning to hold back her urge. "Let me use one! Please!" Amy thought. "Hmmm....well...."

How to Use Cloth Diaper Without Hassles

Many parents want to use cloth diapers but think that it's too difficult. It is much easier to grab a disposable diaper and then toss it away when it's soiled. However, it is possible to minimize the hassles of using cloth diapers. Here are some ideas for how to cloth diaper more easily:

Use a diaper service.

If you don't want to even think about what kind of cloth diapers to use, much less wash and dry them, a diaper service is for you. With a diaper service, you receive a week's worth of clean diapers as well as a diaper pail. Just put the dirty diapers in the diaper pail until the new set of clean diapers arrives one week later. This is the easiest way to cloth diaper.

Use disposable diapers sometimes.

Cloth diapering isn't an all or nothing affair. If you find it too difficult to use cloth diapers at night or when you're out of the house, then use disposable diapers at those times. You'll still be minimizing your family's contribution to land fills, as well as your baby's exposure to the chemicals in disposable diapers.

Organize your supplies.

Set up a diaper changing station in convenient areas of your house. At least one upstairs and one downstairs would be ideal. In each changing station, make sure you have a diaper pail, fresh diapers, baby wipes or washcloths (I use spray bottles and washcloths instead of wipes), hand sanitizer, diaper rash cream, diaper covers and whatever else you use whenever changing your baby's diaper. Have a place nearby to air wet diaper covers. A mug tree or wall hooks are great for this.

Make your cloth diapers ready to go.

Fold and arrange the cloth diapers so that they're ready to go with each diaper change. If you use pocket diapers, stuff them with diaper liners as soon as you take them out of the dryer. Stack them up in a diaper stacker, just as you would disposable diapers. Then when you're changing baby's diaper, you just grab one and go.

Use the dry pail method.

Place wet and soiled diapers in a dry pail; don't put water in it. The wet pail method is messy, stinky and potentially dangerous. Small children can drown in even a few inches of water. Besides, the dry pail method is much more hygienic. Sprinkle the bottom of the pail with some baking soda, to cut on odors. Cover the pail and your room won't stink.

Cloth diapering doesn't have to be complicated or burdensome. With a little planning and organization, it can be quite pleasant and almost as convenient as disposable diapers. Give it a try and you'll soon come up with your own way of how to cloth diaper more conveniently.

Baby Girls Dresses - What You Need to Consider

Depending on the baby girls dress you are looking for, there are certain things you need to consider. Dressing up your little one is something that usual revolved around a special event, and you want it to be as low-stress as possible - for you AND them!

Toddlers can be fidgety. Standing or sitting for any length of time has them jumping up and down, spinning (arms and body), and adjusting their clothing. With that in mind, it is important to find a dress that will allow your toddler to move and be comfortable. If it is too tight, they will be distracted. If the material is scratching, even in the very least, your little girl is going to find it hard to remain still. Wearing something under their dress that will "pad" the material in the dress will definitely help. If you can find something in cotton, it will help your baby girl feel comfortable.

Toddlers grow up quick. When planning for your special event, you need to keep this in mind. If you are planning for a wedding that might be a year out, your toddlers dress size needs to be considered a year out. Nothing is more frustrating and disappointing than to pull your little girls dress out and find she has outgrown it! Planning ahead will help you avoid this headache. You probably will also want to consider the inevitable "accident" your toddler has during the special event. It is a good idea to budget in for a duplicate dress - just in case.

How much do you want to spend? The cheaper dresses that are available are not necessarily going to be your best choice. At the same time, an expensive dress, for other reasons, probably is not going to be good choice either. So what do you choose? What is the special event? What time of year? Cheaper dresses are probably good for those shorter moments as the material usually is not meant for extended comfort. Baby girls dresses that are more expensive likely will be more durable and lasting.

Many baby girls dresses are available for your consideration from a number of online sources, so I recommend you look around and compare. Careful planning will help make the special occasion a positive experience and memorable for you and your baby girl. For a great place to start, visit my site, Baby Girls Dresses.

Potty Training My Toddler

How To Potty Train a Toddler. Top 5 ways of knowing if your child is ready for that big step. One of the most frightening things about being a new parent is figuring out when a child is ready for the "next stage in life". When are they ready to stop drinking from a bottle, or when should they attempt to feed themselves or when should a parent start potty training? These changes were quite frightening for me because as I read many expert opinions about the subject and the consequences associated with doing something wrong, you have no choice but to be scared of messing up so bad that your child will have to deal with the consequences forever.

I'm here to tell you to relax. The wonderful thing about most of these stages, they are part of nature and most of the time nature will prevail despite our short falls. The best advice for new parents is to follow the signs that nature provide.

The top 5 signs that signal you that your child maybe ready for potty training are as follows:

1) Your child stay dry for longer period of time
2) Your child wakes up dry often in the morning
3) Your child starts dressing herself/himself
4) Your child let you know they need changing or if they are wet
5) Your child show interest in wearing big kids underpants

These signs tell you that this is a great time to make an attempt at potty training. Now it is important to remember in all the different stages in your child's life, the most important ways to influence change is through consistency and serving as the role model.

When beginning to potty train my daughter, I first took her to the store to select the "Big Girl" underpants to serve as her motivation. I selected to begin this process at a time when I was home on leave from work with her and when we would have very little distractions from our schedule.

The next day, I introduced her to the potty. We started our day on the potty. During that day, every time I went, my daughter sat on the potty. The second day, I put on the Big girl underpants on her for an hour and I move the potty to the family room where we spend most of our day. Every 30 minutes I would have her sit on the potty. This would go on for several days, until she finally goes on her own. I celebrated with her, but not excessively. I wanted her to know that this was a great thing but also a normal part of life.

Like I mentioned before, relax if your child resist at first. Eventually, your child will come around. You will not have an 18 year old in diapers. It will happen in due time. Be patient, relax, stay consistent and motivated.

Nursing Baby to Sleep - Good Idea Or a Bad One?

Is nursing baby to sleep a good idea? I mean, we mothers know that babies often fall sleep nursing. After all, the breast is a great source of comfort to them and is a place they feel safe and familiar. In addition, the fat in mom's milk helps make baby sleepy, and the warmth of her arms and sound of her heartbeat are relaxing too. All of which add up to the perfect environment to succumb to sleep.

And we all know babies who seemingly won't fall asleep unless they are nursing. At least, nursing is what they prefer. Nursing baby to sleep does work, but is it really in baby's (and the parent's) best interest?

Some insist that if a baby is allowed to fall asleep on the breast, they will never learn to sleep on their own or without mom's help. This may or may not be true, depending on the baby. Some moms don't have a problem with this. As one mom put it, "I nursed my baby to sleep until he weaned. I figured, I would never have that time back, so I just enjoyed it." Many nursing mothers feel the same way.

Moms, rest assured that you can follow your heart on this issue. If you nurse your baby to sleep, stop feeling guilty! This is a perfectly normal way to encourage baby to fall asleep. Sleeping without nursing is a developmental milestone your child will surely reach when he or she is ready. So, if nursing baby to sleep works for your family, go ahead and continue doing it.

If, however, you are not happy with the arrangement, there are steps you can take to transition baby to fall asleep without you. Instead of nursing baby to sleep, nurse only until baby is almost asleep, and then remove him from the breast. He may fuss at first, but if you are consistent he'll understand that you mean business. Elizabeth Pantley offers several tips for transitioning baby away from the breast in her book "The No-Cry Sleep Solution".

If you're concerned about tooth decay, rest assured. Babies get cavities despite nursing, not because of it. Nursing at night will not make your child more prone to cavities. In addition, many moms find that the act of breastfeeding at night helps them get more rest. Instead of fussing with an unhappy baby who needs to be rocked to sleep, they enjoy the ease of latching baby onto the breast and falling into a relaxing sleep.

Another tip that works for many moms and babies is "wearing" baby to sleep in a sling. You can nurse the baby until he's sleepy, remove him from the nipple and walk him in a sling close to your body until he's asleep again. Using this tool, you can even get other things done while "putting baby down" for his nap. Go for a quick walk outside or do some light housework. Baby will enjoy the familiar comfort of your body and the sound of your heartbeat and know he's safe with you close. Eventually you will not have to nurse your child to sleep at all. As with most things, do what works for your family.

Baby and Toddlers Clothes - The Evolution of Children's Clothing

Children's clothing evolved as with all the things that are now present today.

From the beginning, children's' clothing used color to separate the genders. Especially in the olden days where little boys looked like little girls, the distinction can be made by the color of the clothes. Girls wore pink and little boys wore blue, this is as much true today as it is in the era of days gone by.

Because of historical accounts available like painting and photographs, it was not easily distinguished if a child was male or female. Thus, not only do the clothes determined the gender but the general appearance as well. This was manifested by the hair style that they were told to wear. It became a strong convention that little girls wear pretty dresses and their hair long while the little boys were told to wear the pants and sport short hair. However due to the evolution of time, little girls of today have adopted to wearing pants but the day hasn't come yet where the boys adopted the dresses of girls!

In our modern world today, a general convention exists that girls are able to wear the clothes of boys but never the other way around. But that wasn't the case in the 19th century where little girls and boys were dressed alike. Although during that time, girls were not allowed to dress in pants, otherwise, there was not much difference in the way they were dressed.

Up to the time of the second world war, clothes associated with girls were dresses, pantalets, smocks and pinafores.

Dresses

This was the basic clothing of girls up to the second world war since it was not everyday occurrence that girls wore pants or shorts before the war.

Bloomers

This was another staple in the little girls' clothing where it served its purpose of
providing an alternative option to the restrictive and binding fashion sense during the 19th century. This can be attributed to Amelia Bloomer born 1818 - 1894 who was an American reformer espousing this cause. But the bloomer concept must be credited to Elizabeth Smith Miller as she was creator of the bloomers. Although this type of garment did not bloom at all.

Rompers

These were worn both by the girls and boys that were used primarily for play time. By the end of the second world war, rompers were basic staples for little girls wardrobe. They were usually used as costumes or uniforms for gym classes of girls.

Smocks

This is one generic children's clothing of years gone by. As this was so common, different styles, accessories, adornments, and other details filled the repertoire of how a smock can look like. There were smocks of different colors, smocks with different buttoning styles - buttons located at the back, in the front, or on the side. There were also smocks with collars, with trims, with ties, with pockets, with belts, etc. It was usual in the 1950s that smocks of identical cut were bought by mothers for their children.

Pinafores

This was a very essential piece of garment for the girls' wardrobe as they were usually worn by little girls of Europe and America.

Pantalets

These were worn both by boys and girls. Usually, boys wore plain pantalets while girls wore the fancier ones. But there were some boys who like to wear fancy Pantalets too.

Sailor suits

This was basically a boy's garment but it became a unisex garment as girls started to wear sailor suits too.

Tips For Discreet Breastfeeding in Public

If you're a new Mom who is nursing your baby you may be nervous about doing so in public.

Or perhaps you are disturbed by media reports of women who are harassed for breastfeeding in public and are considering pumping your milk to give your baby when you leave home.

Here are some tips for discreet breastfeeding that have worked for many Moms. Hopefully they will help you feel more comfortable nursing in public so you can avoid the inconvenience of pumping and preparing bottles.

1) Before you have your baby, attend a La Leche League or other breastfeeding support group meeting.

Unfortunately in our Society that gives lip service to the benefits of breastfeeding, it is still rare to see Moms nursing in public, and so most of us grow up having our own babies never having seen another woman nurse.

Going to an LLL meeting and seeing how other Moms nurse their babies discreetly and confidently can boost your own confidence. They can also share with you tips that will make nursing in public easier for you.

2) Invest in a baby sling.

These are wonderful for making life with a baby easier all around, but one thing they're great for is discreet breastfeeding. I can't count the times someone approached me in a store and commented on my baby having no idea that s/he was latched on and nursing! The fabric of the sling can be adjusted to come up over the baby's head (yet most babies don't mind this like they do a blanket), or you can use the extra fabric on the "tail" to cover baby.

3) After your baby is born, practice nursing in front of a mirror or a friend to perfect your technique.

Once you and baby are getting to be old pros at the latch on, you can most likely do so in just a couple of seconds.

4) Nurse at the first signs of hunger.

A nursing baby generally draws less attention than a screaming one! So latch your baby on as soon as you notice that s/he is hungry...rooting, sucking on fist, grimacing face, etc. A crying baby also makes you nervous and you and baby may take longer to get latched on comfortably.

5) Try turning your body away while you latch on.

If you're sitting at a table in a restaurant, simply turn your body away from the table briefly while you latch baby on, then resume your normal position.

6) Try nursing clothes.

These are designed to cover your belly for more discreet breastfeeding. Or simply wear a thin top under a cardigan or other shirt. You can also make your own nursing top by cutting slits in a tank and wearing it under another shirt. And always pull up your shirt from the bottom instead of unbuttoning from the top to nurse.

7) Bring a book or large purse to set in your lap to camouflage.

Your diaper bag would also work. Set it in front of baby on your knees while you latch baby on. Or hold a book so that your baby's head and your breast are out of view.

And lastly...

8) Be confident!

You are doing something that is best for you and baby and that billions of women all over the world for thousands of years have done. Be proud of yourself and give passersby a warm smile. You'd be surprised how often people will smile back or even approach with a commendation or anecdote about their own children.

Enjoy nursing your baby!

Unique Diaper Bags

With so many different types of diaper bags in the market, many buyers feel the need for unique diaper bags that stands out from the rest. diaper bags are available in trendy, innovative and unique designs. These are made from quality fabrics including leather, nylon, quilted micro fiber, vinyl coating and suede.

Many parents take efforts to make individual style statements through the diaper bags that they carry. Many feel that the bag they carry must convey something about the baby or its family and their values or beliefs. This is pretty similar to college students wearing their varsity sweatshirts with slogans, except it is done in a more subtle way with diaper bags.

People adopt many different ways to create unique diaper bags. Some decide to make their own diaper bags, while others do not hesitate to pay a lot of money for a designer diaper bag that is the envy of other parents. Diaper bags in exotic fabrics are also in vogue, as people do not mind the extra cost of maintenance if it makes them seem unique.

Most diaper bags contain the basic requirements such as multiple compartments, diaper holders and bottle holders. The features that make them unique are their colors, prints, fabric, design and shape. For instance, a father would not like to carry a feminine looking diaper bag with big floral prints. For fathers, a diaper bag, which is sporty, will be more preferable. A diaper bag with a football shape or design will truly make it unique.

Some diaper bags are unique because of the extra items that come along with it, such as purses, key holders and coin pouches. There are others that come with organizers and diaries to keep a list of emergency numbers and baby related information handy.

Companies that make diaper bags keep in mind the fact that the bags must not only be stylish and useful, but also innovative. They focus on bringing out as many varieties as possible to keep up with the growing demand for unique designs.

Unwanted Love Chp. 10

Nicole and Chelsea gave me genuine smiles as they each took one of my hands and pulled me to the set. We came up to the boys, and they all stared at me with wide eyes. "What?" I asked self consciously. "You look..." Nick trailed off as if he was struggling to find the right word, "Beautiful." I felt the blood rush to my face, and I looked away before it became too noticeable. "Thanks." ~*~*~*~*~*~*~* I'm the love interest of Nick! What are the freaking odds?! The original plan was Nick and Nicole's character to be, but they made Nicole be Kevin's, and me be Nick's...Oh joy. We've been filming now for two weeks. It's been loads of fun. Joe just got done pranking Chelsea, so now, she has to find a way to get him back. Those two fight like brother and sister. Chels told me they went out a few years ago, but they liked it better being friends. Miley...well, Miley had a hard time that night when I told her everything. She had cried for an hour straight when I told her what had happened to my parents, and where my brother was. That's right, brother. Not Alex, but an older one. His name is Hunter. He's 22, and in the Marines. He's been in Iraq for the better part of this last year. "So, are you ready to start recording?" Joe asked me as we waited in the lobby area of Hollywood Records for their father and John. "Yes!" I squealed. They chuckled. Once again, my stupid bangs fell in front of my face. I grabbed Nick's wrist, ignoring the weird feeling it gave me, and slipped my hair ...

Red Hat Party Games for Silly Ladies Wearing Purple Dresses

Another very interesting party concept is having a Red Hat Party. There is a red hat society, which is a group of women who wear red hats and purple dresses to the parties. The poems by Jenny Joseph is being considered the main inspiration for having these Red Hat Parties. These parties can be made really interesting with the addition of Red Hat Party Games in which everyone will have a chance to participate.

Don't Dance With A Red Hat

This is a game which will definitely surprise all your guests. In this Red Hat Party Game, you need to tell your men audience that they must not dance with the lady who has a red hat on. Now what happens in this game is that a lady is given a red hat to wear and she will go to another lady who is dancing with her partner and will put the red hat on her head and that lady will have to find another partner. Now the lady who just lost a partner will go to another couple and will put the hat on the head of another lady who will then have to find a new partner and thus the game will go on and on till the participants are invited to play another game.

Grab The Candies

Well this has been a very interesting Red Hat Party Game that I am going to share with you. In this game, you have to have plenty of candies filled in a bowl. Put the bowl on the table and ask the ladies to grab as many candies as they can. After this, some ladies will grab one or two and others might take a handful of candies. Now when this process is over just ask the ladies that they do not need to eat the candies as yet, but now for each candy that they have taken, they have to share something about themselves. This game will be really exciting when everyone will start telling about themselves for each candy that they have taken.

There can be a lot of other Red Hat Party Games that you can think of, so that all the guests just have a really good time. Just remember that the games that you are going to design must be really interesting and should be designed as a professional as the ones that you have read and better.
