Giro Me2 Infant Bike Helmet Product Review
Giro Me2 Infant Bike Helmet is one thing I always make my little kid wear when she is riding her little bike. It's a standard procedure to wear a helmet even for the little kids. These helmets are so cool from its structures up to their colors. There are three colors and designs you could choose from; first is the Blue aviator, second is the yellow chicks which my daughter wears, and last is the Red Ducks.
When it comes to its features, the helmet has twenty ventilations around its cap and it gives more comfort to the user because the air can pass inside. It is also adjustable so that it will fit depending on the size of the kid's head. The lock for the strap is at bottom of the head near the chin area. This is definitely a helmet of your choice; your kid is safer that they ever were.
At the back of the helmet, there is also a strap that could adjust size of the helmet. Parents can actually loosen or tighten the straps. It is intended for parents to motivate their young ones in the perception of never to ride a bike without wearing a helmet. Anyway, this helmet is not difficult to offer to our kids since it is very colorful in their eyes. They will be surely attracted to it.
Your kid will surely enjoy this helmet and this one thing he can be proud of to show to their friends and their classmates. Give your kids a nice gear perhaps buy the Giro Me2 Infant Bike Helmet.

Ten Tips For Potty Training Success
Embarking on the potty training mission is one of the milestones of parenting. Parents are anxious to be proud of their children and to leave the days of diapers, wipes and diaper bags far behind. Teaching children to use the toilet is not always easy, but here are some tips for potty training that should help you to get your child out of diapers once and for all.
- Start when the child is showing signs of being ready to start. If they are showing an interest in you when you go potty, it may be time to think about getting started with toilet teaching. Other signs include long periods of dry diapers, questions about going potty, or letting you know when they have pooped or peed their diaper.
- Remember that no two children are alike. Some will start earlier and others will start later. There is no perfect age to start.
- Get a calendar and mark the start date for potty training. Keep the calendar where the child can easily see it and enthusiastically build the excitement as the day gets closer.
- Talk with the child about all the wonderful things that go hand in hand with being potty trained. Relate how cool it will be to be a big boy or girl. Let them know how many more neat things they will be able to do once they no longer are wearing diapers.
- Have plenty of interesting and fun rewards available. They can be small things, just make sure they are things the child will be happy to receive. You can have them help you shop for these rewards. Keep in mind that some rewards can be things like staying up a little later or being able to watch their favorite movie.
- For the boys, keep a small bag of something like Cheerios available in the potty. They make fun target practice and can be a great incentive.
- Remain patient. There will be setbacks and great leaps forward. If you get frustrated they will be able to sense it and this will often lead back to old habits.
- Most libraries have some great books on potty training. In the days leading up to the start of using the toilet, read these with your child. The books will help to answer questions and they will show your child that all kids learn to use the potty.
- Model appropriate potty behavior. It's okay for them to come in and watch how it works. This curiosity is a great indicator of their readiness to begin their training. Kids always want to be just like mom or dad.
- Remain consistent in your training. If the child knows what to expect, they are much more likely to respond in a positive way. Incorporate as much routine as possible. Structure and routine are valuable to children.
It is possible to have a relatively painless toilet teaching experience. These tips should get you going in the right direction.

Personalized Baby Clothing is Now More Easy and Affordable
Do you remember when you were a baby and your mom used to dress you up in plain baby clothing that all of the other babies were wearing in the nursery? Of course you don't but the fact is that somewhere deep in your psyche you do in fact have subliminal memories of those fashionably traumatic times.
Believe it or not, the fact is that clinical researchers have found that babies as young as six months old have a sense of self and even recognize and have preferences for colors shapes and design patterns. This means that young babies recognize when they have on threads that they like and possibly have a rudimentary "sense of style".
The good news now is that personalized and unique baby clothing designs are now more easily obtained and affordable than ever before. One new look that is in is the hip-hop look that babies as young as six months are expressing a keen interest in. Just because they can speak doesn't mean that they can't flash a big toothless smile when they are heading out the door looking their finest.
Also monogrammed clothing and baby blankets help to make you babies wardrobe show more style during the day. For the first year of your babies life he or she is quite possibly going have more pictures taken of them then all the rest of their years combined.
This means that you will always want you little peanut to be dressed in his or her finest clothes. The good news is that unique and personalized bay clothing is so easy to find on the Internet, because more and more baby clothing boutiques are featuring it. Also custom monogrammed baby clothing is just as easy to have produced at many of these same online sources.

A Guide to Buying Baby and Toddler Shoes
Choosing the correct shoes for infants and younger children can be a bit daunting, hopefully this guide will make you a little more confident when it comes to making your purchase.
Babies which are not yet crawling or walking really do not need shoes, and it is advisable to let them keep their feet free so they can move and develop naturally. Wearing a pair of soft knitted of fleece material baby booties are a good idea to keep their feet warm when the temperature is cooler. If you would like your baby to wear shoes when you go out, opt for a very soft breathable material and make sure that the shoe is plenty big enough to allow for natural movement of the foot and toes.
When your baby starts crawling, again they do not really need shoes but with all of the rubbing across the floor that the top of their foot will endure it is advisable to purchase a soft pair of shoes for some protection when the terrain is a bit rough. Although very delicate, babies feet are also very tough, and can naturally withstand the chaffing caused by crawling. Socks are adequate, but generally will end up trailing behind their feet most of the time! At home try to let your baby crawl around with bare feet or just socks, as the constant wearing of a shoe will inhibit their ability to develop the use of their feet. Find more info at [http://www.bouncingbabyshoes.info]
Once your baby has taken their first steps it is time to buy their first pair of walking shoes. Although bear in mind that the more time spent walking bare foot the better, as it helps your baby to figure out how their feet work and also helps the foot develop naturally.
There are times when going bare foot is not practical or it is unsanitary so you need a good pair of shoes to protect their feet from harm.
The shoes you select need to be soft and flexible and have a non slip sole. Ensure that the sole is not thick so that your baby can feel the floor beneath them. It is not necessary to buy high tops for ankle support, high tops could restrict the movement of the ankle which will hinder your babies walking progress. Make sure the material is soft and breathable to help keep their feet cool and comfortable.
To check the fit of your babys shoe, you should be able to fit your little finger between the heel of your babys foot and the back of the shoe, also there should be a thumbs width gap between the big toe and the front of the shoe.
Baby shoes do not need to be broken in so get them to have a little walk around the shop with them on and watch to see if the shoes hinder their walking, then remove the shoes and check for any signs of pressure from the shoes on your babies feet.
Whether you choose Velcro or lace ups is a personal choice for you. Remember that the shoes will be taken on and off a lot, so many people opt for Velcro for convenience. If you select laced shoes, do not over tighten the laces or just as importantly do not tie them too loose.
Something to remember is that when the weather is hot, and also towards the end of the day, childrens feet swell just as adults do, so when shopping for shoes it might be an idea to go later in the day.
Check the fit of your babys shoes once a month, as childrens feet grow at different rates there is no set period to purchase a new pair, but expect to buy a new pair every three to six months. Check the shoes often for signs of wear or damage, for example cracks on the bottom or holes or flapping parts on the top.

Rocker Glider a Must Have Baby Nursery Furniture
Birth of a child is one of the most cherished moments in life for anyone. Babies are god's gift to the parents. And hence every parent strives to give his or her child the best possible comforts of the world. A Rocker Glider is one such thing that every parent would like to have. Sitting on it and feeding the baby or just cuddling up with little one are things every parent wants to do. Slowly rocking this glider chair back and forth, humming a lullaby as the child relaxes in the parent's arm is a moment, which remains in one's memory for years to come.
Rocker Glider has slowly emerged as a MUST HAVE baby furniture. Smart craftsmen have managed to develop this nursery furniture so as to use it for multiple things. Even when the baby grows up and no longer needs it, one doesn't have to junk it away. It can be used as an easy rocking chair. Or it can be kept in your living room serving as a chair alongside your sofa or couch. Many of them are now available with a matching ottoman. Hence you can use the whole glider set as foot stool or even store spare blankets in the hollow ottoman. This ensures that you get maximum value from the hard earned money you spend.
There's a plethora of Rocker Glider varieties available in any furniture or baby store. It can have different types of cushions on it. For instance, one can get a rocker glider with leather or micro fiber made cushions. Leather can be also of different types ranging from soft, tender ones to hard and sturdy leathers. The arm rests could be a simple plain wooden one or could be thickly padded ones. If you can spend a little extra, you can get the cushion and the arm rest pads changed to match with other upholstery in the home.
One also needs to take care of this nursery furniture so that it remains in a usable condition for a long time. For instance, if the cushion cover is of leather, one has to be extra careful while feeding the baby. Dropping liquids or baby food on it or it can soil the finishing and can also make it stink if not cleaned properly. In this case, one should immediately clean the rocker glider with a soft cleansing liquid or soap so that it remains germ free and also has longer life. Some of recent rocker glider designs have detachable cushion or arm rests for ease of cleaning. If you don't prefer your baby wearing diapers all the time, then you have to ensure that the baby doesn't potty on it.
A little care will ensure that you can use the same Rocker Glider for more than one baby. It's small baby furniture but brings immense joy and happiness to home.
Rocker Glider is a must have baby furniture. Ideal for holding, feeding and bonding with baby. Click here to learn how Rocker Glider can soothe your baby to sleep.

A Baby Shower Gift For Dad?
All too often, men are excluded from the baby shower ritual. Now for many men, this is by choice and they're okay with it. But not all new dads are alike in their thinking. It's a fact that over the past 5 to 10 years, dads have become more and more involved in the new baby festivities. After all, they are an important part of the equation!
More and more men today want to play a more prominent role in their children's lives. They want their efforts acknowledged and there's no better way to do that than with a baby shower gift for Dad. Now dad's not going to need any breastfeeding supplies. And he probably doesn't want any diapers. So what exactly do you give these new age dads?
Well for starters, decide whether you want the baby shower gift for dad to be silly or somewhat serious. You'll know the answer after giving some thought to the dad's personality. You can also gauge the answer by considering the tone of the upcoming festivities. Usually when men are invited to baby showers, they're more casual affairs, like backyard BBQs. So in this case, something silly might be perfectly appropriate.
If you're hedging towards a more serious baby shower gift for dad, think about the dad's hobbies and interests next. If enjoys playing golf for example, give him a set of golf balls with a baby-inspired inscription. If he likes a good cigar, give several so he can enjoy them with his buddies.
Most guys love wearing t-shirts which is why you'll find a huge assortment geared towards the new dad. A t-shirt with a funny image is both cute and useful making it a perfect silly baby shower gift for dad. Another popular baby shower gift for dad is a tool belt full of baby supplies like diapers, wipes, bottles, and of course, a mask! The choices for dad are out there so go have some fun!

Homemade Baby Slings - How to Make Your Own Baby Sling!
As many hip parents know, baby slings have become an increasingly popular mode of transporting your infant or toddler around - from A-list celebrities spotted wearing a designer Baby Bjorn with baby in tow, to everyday moms and dads on the go who choose to use a variety of baby slings and carriers, the baby carrier is the way to carry your little one in style!
Saving Green...
With today's ever-tightening economy, some parents are choosing to get crafty - and get sewing! While there are many gifted homemakers who enjoy making their own baby clothes, others are merely looking to save a penny or two and design their own easy-to-sew or no-sew baby wrap.
Going Green...
There are also environmentally-conscious parents who would prefer to start their child's life on a green note - and organic baby slings are easily made, using natural fibers and textiles (such as hemp and unbleached cotton) as eco-friendly alternatives to synthetic materials used in traditional baby carriers.
Making a Scene!
Still others choose to express their creative side - crocheting, knitting and hand-stitching hip baby slings to suit their own personal style, crafty folks everywhere can consult a multitude of craft magazines and websites for how-to's and blogs when creating their own original baby sling designs.
Ready, Set...Sew!
So, whether you're on a budget, looking to express your artistic or creative side, or simply trying to live a greener lifestyle, it's easy to make your own cheap baby slings - below, DIY instructions to sew your own baby wrap!
HOW TO MAKE BABY SLINGS:
For anyone who has basic sewing skills, this is a fairly simple project:
1. First, choose your fabric at a local fabric store - since you will be sewing (or serging) the edges, you may choose woven cloth that is unfinished, as well as fleeces and cotton knits, as long as they don't curl up when cut.
2. Next, cut your cloth to the proper dimension - if you're purchasing your fabric in person, the salesperson can cut the cloth to your specifications; we recommend 20 to 35" wide and at least 5 yards (15 feet) long.
3. Finally, you will finish the edges by serging all four sides of the material.
If you do not have your own serger, we recommend hemming all the way around the four sides of the baby wrap. You may also choose to visit your local sewing machine store, which might let you borrow their serger for free or for a small fee; visiting a tailor or dry cleaners is another affordable option for finishing your baby wrap.
IMPORTANT TIP: DO NOT buy 2.5 yards of 2 different materials & sew them together to create 5 yards - this will result in a WEIGHT-BEARING seam, weakening your baby wrap & making it less safe!
Although this is a moderately easy sling project for some, sewing isn't quite an option for everyone, especially when you consider what you're transporting! For the rest of us less-than-crafty folks who want to carry their precious cargo stylishly (and safely!), it's not difficult to find inexpensive and cheap baby slings. There are many online sources, including Babysling.com, where you can find a great assortment of affordable baby slings & infant slings, including the ERGO baby carrier, Hotslings brand, Moby Wrap, Maya, Ellaroo, Baby K'Tan baby carrier and more! Whether you're looking for a baby backpack, a linen baby sling, a Velcro sling, organic slings or any other type of kid sling, you're sure to find a wonderful selection of moderately-priced, eco-friendly and stylish options at Babysling.com!
Philip Morrison is an advocate of baby wearing, having experienced the benefits for him and his two children after wearing them during their early years. At Babysling.com, find all kind of baby slings and carriers from Hotsling, Maya Wrap and more directly from the online store.
