Silver Lining Crib Bedding by Kidsline - A Product Review
Kidsline, one of the most well known brands of crib bedding, is available to customers through many national chains, including Babies R Us, baby specialty stores, and online retailers. Silver Lining crib bedding, introduced by Kidsline in late 2005, appeals to those interested in the Noah's Ark theme for their nursery décor. Though the Silver Lining crib bedding collection retails for between $210 and $250 for the six-piece set, which is on the higher end of pricing compared to other national brands, the quality justifies the price.
The Silver Lining crib bedding set comes with six pieces, including a quilt, bumper, dust ruffle, fitted sheet, diaper stacker, and one valance. The six pieces are also available for purchase separately. The collection is made from a combination of 100% cotton (fitted sheet, quilt and bumper backs), 100% polyester (diaper stacker bumper front, dust ruffle, and valance), and poly/cotton blends (quilt front). While Silver Lining does not have the considerable number of accessories that most Kidsline bedding collections contain, there is still a sizeable variety available.
As with all bedding collections, the focal point of the crib set is the quilt. Silver Lining's quilt is made with at least 10 different fabrics, including satin, cotton, fleece, velvet, and velour. The satin touches make the quilt shimmer and shine. The overall effect of the fabrics and colors, which are bright without being blinding, make the quilt very touchable. The trim of the quilt is made from a soft berber-like fabric in a light sage green. The fleece background of the quilt is particularly soft and provides a nice contrast for the appliquéd and embroidered patches. On occasion, the stitching around the patches stray from its intended path, however, this does not detract from the quality or craftsmanship of the quilt.
The bumper stands 11" tall with ties on the top and bottom. The inward facing bumper looks like the quilt for a nice connection between the two pieces. The outward facing bumper is an unadorned cream fabric. One minor obstacle in washing the bumper is that it is one continuous piece, as opposed to 2, 3, or 4 separate pieces. The dust ruffle has a 13" drop with crushed velvet and light green embroidered eyelet trim. The diaper stacker measures 26" by 12" and can hold at least two-dozen diapers. The valance measures 14" by 60". The fitted sheet and back of the quilt are both made from a printed star pattern fabric. I would caution you to be aware of potential pattern fade in the sheet from multiple washings and normal wear and tear. I would recommend that consumers purchase separate solid colored sheets for every day use (light blue, green, or cream), and reserve the Silver Lining sheet for when you want to show off your nursery to visitors.
Unfortunately for Canadian consumers purchasing from a United States online retailer, the Silver Lining bedding collection is manufactured in China. Customers in Canada would be required to pay import duties of as much as 18% of the stated prices.

Earth's Best Diapers - Diaper Review
Earth's Best diapers are the latest no-chlorine content disposable diapers to hit the market. I noticed it once displayed on the shelf and I decided to give it a try. My baby uses baby cloth diapers during day time and she only wears disposable diapers during night time because I didn't want to disturb her sleep with frequent changing. I didn't want to wake up a lot of times during the night and so does my baby. It is very hard to put her to sleep again when she wakes up in the middle of the night. I didn't see any major differences between Earth's Best diapers and the diapers that I was using for my baby. I appreciate the tabs that can be refastened and I also noticed that even though it has the same price as the other diaper I always bought for my little girl, the package has 3 more extra diapers. This means that for the same price, I get 3 more diapers. When you're like me who buy diapers frequently, I think it will add up to huge savings over time.
I noticed that Earth's Best Diapers are a bit thinner and it is more stretchable which means that it lets in more air. I am very particular with this because my baby has a very sensitive skin. When her pee leaks during the night, and I didn't change her diapers right away, she'll get nasty rashes on her bottom. So far, the diaper that I sampled live up to its promise of being absorbent and breathable.

Mia Bossi Maria Black Cherry Diaper Bag Review
Trendy is an understatement for Mia Bossi, luxury manufacturer of designer diaper bags. With her signature bold lines, exquisite craftsmanship and environmentally friendly materials, Mia Bossi rapidly became a favorite with Hollywood Moms and other celebrities around the world.
These designer diaper bags have been featured in all the top baby publications, including InStyle, People, and Child, and featured on the Today Show. Even celebrities like Paula Abdul fall in love at first sight of these gorgeous bags even though they don't have baby things or baby to tote around. The Maria Tangerine has been very popular but we chose the Maria Black Cherry Diaper Bag because of its subtly rich hues that place it in its own sophisticated class.
Mia Bossi Designer Diaper Bags: Luxurious Style
The Maria Black Cherry is first and foremost a fabulous bag. The designer focuses on functional luxury for Mom, whether or not baby is tagging along. This trendsetting design takes into account that Mom is stylish, fashionable and intends to remain that way even when toting dirty diapers. The reverse noire dot pattern is their signature design and perfectly complements the waxed cotton canvas fabric of the bags. Luscious Italian Ruat Leather in a rich black cherry hue provides the major design component contrasted with the burnished gold studs and hardware for a dynamic and authoritative appeal. The seams are trimmed in the same leather and every detail of the bag is engineered for superior quality. Even the changing pad is made in super soft and washable faux fur for sumptuous luxury for baby.
Mia Bossi Designer Diaper Bags: Functionality
Maria Black Cherry is full sized and at 11" High x 7" Wide x 15" Long, it serves triple duty as a purse, a computer case, and magnificent shopping or travel bag, necessary for today's modern woman who is on the go all day long. The waxed exterior is easy to clean and the interior is super. The lining actually zips in and out so that all you have to do is throw it in the washing machine to clean it. The interior features a cell phone holder, a key chain holder, diaper holder, baby wipe holder, and very considerately, a private zippered pocket for Mom's personal belongs and two covered exterior side bottle pockets. Even with all the features, size, and leather, it weighs only 4 lbs 11 oz. so that it is easy to carry around with you and does not add undue stress to your back.
Maria Black Cherry Designer Diaper Bags: Versatility
Versatility has become a buzz word in today's baby world. With so many high profile people having babies, fashion designers have competed for the most resplendent baby bags that would never be identified as such; they are so chic and elegant. The straps are adjustable and detachable to fit onto the handle of the stroller, relieving the pressure on Mom's back for a hands free experience. When you carry these baby bags, everyone turns their head and remarks, Mia Bossi, so wear it with pride and panache at the office, at the board meeting or dining out.

A Parent's Review Of Huggies Diapers
Huggies diapers have been a staple for millions of new parents for years. During that time, Huggies Corp. have released several different types of diapers including their Huggies Supreme, UltraTrim, Overnites and Snug and Dry brands. Each diaper has its respective pros and cons. Having tried the UltraTrim and Supreme diapers with my infant, I can offer some comments that will help you decide which brand of diapers is right for your baby.
Are Huggies Diapers Easy To Use?
Most Huggies come with small (approximately 1" x 1") velcro tabs attached. The tabs can be found on the back and top parts of the diapers. These tabs make the job of putting the diaper on your child very easy. If you need to make the diaper fit your baby more snugly, you can do so quickly by simply adjusting the velcro tabs.
Are Huggies Comfortable For Your Baby?
The company claims its diapers are "baby-shaped," implying that the diapers are designed to perfectly fit the contours of your baby's body. Frankly, this is true of most respected brands of diapers. Some Huggies are well-designed to provide comfort for your child. Others are not. For example, the front layer on the Supreme type diapers is thicker than many brands which offers extra comfort. However, the back layer is thin. In my opinion, Huggies should have made the back layer thicker. It would prove handy for babies that are trying to walk. The extra layer would provide cushion when your baby falls on its bottom.
The UltraTrim brand is also a bit lacking in comfort. As its name implies, the diaper is very thin. That may irritate your child's skin if they're doing a lot of crawling. However, some people claim that thinner diapers actually allow your baby to walk more easily. It may be best to make your decision about using UltraTrim diapers based upon whether your baby is walking or crawling.
How Well Do Huggies Absorb Moisture?
Of course, a key consideration is whether a diaper absorbs moisture effectively and stays dry. In my experience, the Supreme diapers did not absorb well. Not only did I detect some wetness, but I also noticed strange white flakes and grains that came from the diaper on my child's skin. On the other hand, the UltraTrim diapers had a great sponge factor. I never noticed any residual wetness or leakages from the diaper (nor any flakes!). In my experience, the UltraTrims have much better absorption than the Supreme diapers.
My Last Thoughts On Huggies Diapers
Huggies diapers aren't cheap. In fact, they're one of the higher-priced diaper brands on the market. As babies go through diapers quickly, using Huggies could prove very costly. A few of my friends have used Huggies and thought that they were good diapers but not worth the hefty price tag. That said, if you can find a coupon for a discount or even a way to get free Huggies diapers, definitely take advantage of it. You may find that the brand is a perfect fit for your child.

Giro Me2 Infant Bike Helmet Product Review
Giro Me2 Infant Bike Helmet is one thing I always make my little kid wear when she is riding her little bike. It's a standard procedure to wear a helmet even for the little kids. These helmets are so cool from its structures up to their colors. There are three colors and designs you could choose from; first is the Blue aviator, second is the yellow chicks which my daughter wears, and last is the Red Ducks.
When it comes to its features, the helmet has twenty ventilations around its cap and it gives more comfort to the user because the air can pass inside. It is also adjustable so that it will fit depending on the size of the kid's head. The lock for the strap is at bottom of the head near the chin area. This is definitely a helmet of your choice; your kid is safer that they ever were.
At the back of the helmet, there is also a strap that could adjust size of the helmet. Parents can actually loosen or tighten the straps. It is intended for parents to motivate their young ones in the perception of never to ride a bike without wearing a helmet. Anyway, this helmet is not difficult to offer to our kids since it is very colorful in their eyes. They will be surely attracted to it.
Your kid will surely enjoy this helmet and this one thing he can be proud of to show to their friends and their classmates. Give your kids a nice gear perhaps buy the Giro Me2 Infant Bike Helmet.
