Potty Training Tips For Stubborn Children That Work!

"Plop. Plop. Fizz. Fizz. Oh, what a relief it is."

--Old Potty Training Song

Many moms are not experiencing relief when their stubborn child resists potty
training all together. With the laundry piling up and the cost of pull-ups
eating away at the weekly budget, it's no wonder many parents feel like they're
ready to flush those unsuccessful potty training techniques down the toilet! I
receive at least one email a week from a mom in the parenting "deep end" asking
for suggestions in this area.

Child-Tested Potty Training Tips for Stubborn Children

Here are my top seven tips for potty training stubborn children:

1. Know that Your Child WILL be Potty Trained - Potty training is one of
the most important skills preschoolers will learn. They do learn it--it's just
that some children are slower than others. Everyone eventually learns how to go
to the bathroom on their own. Have faith! It's just a matter of time.

2. Stay Away from Cute, External Rewards - The more you make potty
training into a game, the more your child will see it as a game. Chances are
they might turn into a competitive battle where you lose. Cute ideas (like
sticker charts for when children "go", floating Cheerios into the bowl and
having boys aim for it, putting food coloring into the bowl and having your
child get excited about watching the color change) only confuses the
issue--especially when the gimmicks lose their appeal. The rewards of potty
training should be internal: your child should feel good about herself for
learning something new. By all means, encourage you child when he remembers with
a simple, "Great job!". This is all that is needed for success.

3. Stick with Your Decision to Forgo diapers and Pull-ups - My belief is
that pull-ups that soak up the uncomfortable wet feeling actually prolong potty
training. One of the children in my life became so comfortable with pull-ups
that he was wearing them well into the school years for night accidents.
Accidents (many of them) will happen. When kids aren't given the opportunity to
continually experience the natural discomfort that comes from wet clothes, they
have no reason to learn to make potty training a priority. Consider putting a
protective waterproof sheet around their mattress, but stay away from soaker
pads and pull-ups once you have made the shift (and the sooner, the better).

4. Make Potty Training Comfortable - A big person toilet for a small bum
can be a scary thing. Use training potties, potty seats, or have your child face
the toilet when sitting on the throne so they can sit comfortably.

5. Let Go of Constant Reminders and Prodding - The more you make it a big
deal, the more your child will fight you. If you are taking all the
responsibility for your child to remember to go, there will be no incentive or
reason for them to remember. When it comes to potty training, the best reminder
comes from your child's own bladder--not you! And when your child forgets or
doesn't listen to their bladder, the pee running down their leg is their next
reminder.

6. Have Your Child Help Clean Up When Accidents Happen - Accidents happen
and are a part of the natural process of potty training. Don't make a big deal
out of accidents. Instead deal with the accident by happily cleaning it up
together. Have your child help you find dry clothes and deal with washing up.

7. Give Your Child More Responsibilities Around the House - The more
confidence your child feels, the more they will embrace learning any new skill
(including potty training). Look for tasks that your preschooler can be
responsible for and thank her for what she does. Involving your child in the
upkeep of your home is one of the best things you can do for him (see chapter
eight of my book When You're About To Go Off The Deep End, Don't Take Your
Kids With You
to learn more about how chores can boost your child's
self-esteem).

Potty training is one of the many skills your child needs to perfect. When you
support your child in listening to the natural cues of their own body, you will
empower him or her with life-long skills. And if you choose to use the above
seven potty training tips for a stubborn child, you'll find that potty training
becomes a process--rather than a power struggle--with a happy ending.

Huggies Swim Diapers - Little Swimmers.AVI

www.HuggiesDiapers.org - Hugges diapers makes a brand of swim diapers called Little Swimmers. They are made for going in the water. Your child pulls them on like underpants (no sticky tabs on the sides) and can wear them in the water while swimming or wading. Wearing swimming diapers at the pool or water park is a much better idea than regular diapers like Huggies Diapers Supreme. They will not hold up to the moisture.

Letter to a Teenage Daughter

Dear Daughter,

You are a wonderful person and your mother and I think the world of you. It will not be long before you leave home to make your way in the world. Can I please give you some friendly advice? Here are some things that I think you should never do.

1. Never Despise Yourself.

You are great and capable of achieving great things so believe in yourself. When things go badly, never stop believing. Some girls get depressed, blame themselves and lose self-esteem. All sorts of problems can follow.

2. Never Get Obsessed with your Appearance.

We think you look great (though some of the outfits you wear worry us!). Please be happy with the person you are and the body you have. Eat sensibly, take exercise and be healthy. Some girls become obsessed with losing weight or getting the perfect shape. You look fine.

3. Never Live Beyond Your Means.

Throughout life try to keep your spending within your income and so save a little. Avoid getting into debt if possible. There are some exceptions - like getting a mortgage to buy a house - but generally if you can live within your means you will avoid all sorts of problems.

4. Never Compromise Your Personal Safety.

Never put yourself at serious risk. This means that you cannot trust people until you really know them and that sometimes you have to avoid things that look like they might be fun. Never get drunk or take recreational drugs. Unfortunately there are some malevolent people out there and it is best not to take undue risks.

5. Never Get Involved with a Married Man.

There are plenty of great single men out there. Don't get entangled with a married man no matter how attractive he is - it will end in your tears.

6. Never Give Less Than Your Best.

We are very proud of what you have accomplished so far. You should be proud too. Keep doing well. Keep trying your hardest at everything you do. No one can ask for more than that.

7. Never Forget that Your Parents Love You.

Whatever happens in life, your family will still be your family. Whatever difficulties you encounter you can always talk to us and we will try to help. We are here for you.

love

Dad

What To Buy Your Girlfriend For Her Next Birthday?

It's time to buy your girlfriend a birthday present again and you're still recovering from that look of disgust she gave you when she opened the present you gave her last year. This year, you promised, will be different.

You want to tell her how special she is to you, but you've already exhausted all your 'great ideas'. The challenge of being a modern man who always knows what to buy for birthdays now just seems like an impossible ideal.

Your at your wit's end trying to figure out the ideal gift and you can feel a sweat coming on just imagining those busy shopping centres on Saturday, as your mates are all out playing golf ...

Ok, breathe and relax. Your worries are nearly over because by reading this article you are only a few minutes away from being armed with enough ideas to make sure you stay in her good books all year, plus you won't have to go to any shopping centres.

Let's clarify a few basics: chocolates and flowers are a bit passé on their own. Although she might be glad you remembered, they don't say much about you and your personality and there is the danger that you might have given her the same gift on another occasion, which means the gift has some but minimal impact.

You want her to feel special, right? Then stay away from clichés and avoid the last minute moment of madness of buying her flowers from the Petrol station. Give her something that will appeal to her interests, personality, likes, dislikes, hobbies, and passions.

One way to do this is to make a list. Think about some recent conversations with her and try to recall any hints she might have dropped.

Finding a perfect unique gift to fit people's personalities isn't always easy though you give yourself the best chance by using your time wisely and having a range of options and one way you can do this is to take a peak at websites that list fun and interesting gifts for her and have a range of ideas all under one roof.

Thankdarling.com offers a wide range of gifts just for her and by shopping online you can avoid the trauma of 5 hour shopping trips, moody shop assistants and traffic jams. You can do everything from the comfort of your own chair and search for her present online. You can do this by category or by 'gift experiences', and if you already know what you want to buy, you can do this by occasion, or simply by selecting 'for her'.

Remember you are looking to buy a gift for her, so try and avoid getting distracted by all the latest boys toys for now. A day out paint balling and a radio-controlled helicopter might float your boat but as a gift for her? Probably a big no-no.

So to recap, draw up a list of her interests. Then think about what would suit her personality best. Is she artistic, adventurous, an animal lover, or a hopeless romantic? Once you have this sorted out you can choose from a variety of unique gift experiences for your significant other.

Here are 5 popular favourites that can make a memorable birthday for her:

You could treat her artistic taste buds to a Deluxe London Theatre Break with first rate theatre tickets, dinner and overnight stay in a 4-star hotel in the West End of London. Choose from a number of shows, such as Billy Elliott, Chicago, Evita, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia, Mary Poppins, Phantom of the Opera, The Producers, and many more. You can either relax in the hotel next morning or do some sightseeing before heading home after a relaxing break.

For some peaceful quiet time together in the sky in a hot air balloon flight available from 70 locations across the UK. You can fly above some of England's most beautiful countryside, enjoy breath-taking views, take some fabulous aerial photos, and a drink glass of champagne each! A bonus includes assisting in the inflation and the deflation of the balloon if you wish.

If you're considering gifting her a day of relaxation and self-indulgence, then go for the Special Pamper Spa Day voucher. This nationwide voucher offers at least two spa treatments at a choice of seven UK spas to spend the special day. You can spend hours together relaxing in steam and dry heat rooms, and wet areas including jacuzzi, spa baths, showers and therapeutic foot spas. In addition, you get refreshments on arrival and a scrumptious lunch at your chosen spa! You can also use other facilities such as the gym, relaxation classes and swimming pools.

You can also spend your day mingling with some perky meerkats at the wildlife park in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. You can enter their enclosure with the keeper at feeding time and assist in feeding them. The friendly meerkats will enjoy taking treats from your hand, sitting in your lap, untying your shoelaces, and peeking in your pockets! You can also take along a few friends to take pictures of this unique experience!

If you'd like to gift your girlfriend a completely new pampering experience, then go for the Emerald Makeover Experience--complete with a fabulous array of beauty treatments including facial, manicure, and moisturising hand massage; high fashion photo shoot; and a complimentary glass of Bucks Fizz! Treat her to a memorable makeover by top make-up artists and hair stylists, and get professional photographs to remember the experience!

With gifts like these and many more like them you have no excuses not to woo and impress her on her birthday this year!

Celebrity Dads Give Push Presents; Get in on the Trend

Rich celebrities are accustomed to being gifted with expensive jewelry, and the trend extends to the day they give birth. Case in point: Pierce Brosnan gave wife Keely three gold and diamond bracelets when their son Paris was born. Ben Affleck presented wife Jennifer Garner with pricey purple jewelry after she delivered daughter Violet (which the unfussy and practical Mrs. Affleck reportedly made him return). Sarah Jessica Parker got a gorgeous charm bracelet from hubby Matthew Broderick when son James made his debut. Other celeb dads celebrate the arrival of their new babies by buying their wives and girlfriends expensive bling such as diamond rings, diamond earrings, pearl necklaces, pearl earrings, and jewelry made with their baby's birthstone.

Up until a few years ago, these "push presents,"--so named because they're tokens of appreciation for labor--were news to me. All I got when I delivered my son was...my son. Not to say that I'm not immensely grateful; he's my pride and joy. But a nice pair of diamond studs or a pearl cocktail ring, say, to show me that my husband appreciated my months of hard pregnancy and hours of even harder labor would have been "ice" on the cake.

What made the lack of gift worse was that many of my girlfriends got stunning jewelry from their thoughtful and grateful husbands. My favorites were a pearl bracelet, sapphire and diamond earrings, a diamond and yellow gold band, and a princess cut yellow diamond ring.

Poor dear, my husband didn't know it was done.

Apparently, he's not alone. In researching this article, I sent a query to all the guys on my e-mail list (whose wives can thank me later). In addition to wanting to know if they knew what a push present was, I also wanted know if they thought the idea was touching or silly. Did it put pressure on them? Was it just another damn thing they'd have to spend money on?

Naturally, the feedback I got was as varied as the guys on my e-mail list, which includes my boss, my trainer at the gym, my brother, my best friend's brother, my neighbors, my co-workers, and my dentist, to name a few.

First, for the sweet:
From Dave: "Yes, I gave my wife a gift. I didn't feel pressured. She deserved it and more."

From John: "I did buy my wife a charm bracelet after our daughter Lindsay was born. It had charms on it for both of our daughters."

From Taylor: "Yes, I bought my wife gifts both times in addition to flowers. The first time was a cultured pearl necklace (like she needs more jewelry). The last was a Kate Spade diaper bag."

From Wayne, father of four: "Maybe for one or two, certainly not all four." [I certainly remember: Wayne's wife, my friend Sandy, was the recipient of the highly coveted and aforementioned sapphire and diamond earrings.]

From Howie: "Considering my wife had a C-section with both girls, is there a cut present?" [Actually, there is, and it's called a 'cut your guts out' present. My friend's daughter Nicole got a sterling silver bracelet from her husband for her efforts].
"I gave my wife a birthstone for each girl, but forget the 'push present' idea. Those nine months are the easy part. It's for the 18 years afterwards that you have to give your wife the gifts! Honestly, those two girls can scream!"

Dennis: "Funny, before my wife was pregnant I never head of a push present. My buddy and his wife had a baby four months before us and his wife was sure to tell my wife about this gift thing. It's not that I wouldn't have gotten my wife and mother of my son a great gift, but it was put into the realm of 'did your husband get you a diamond bracelet?' type thing. It goes to show that keeping up with the Joneses makes some folks do things they might not otherwise do." [OK, maybe this answer doesn't technically fall under the sweet category as it's got some ambivalence tossed in.]

"Not sure spending thousands on a gift is the best thing for the new family. Was this gift idea created by the diamond companies? So, yes, I did get my wife a gift. Before I'd even heard of a push present, I had my son's birthstone set in a ring and necklace."

From Paul: "I gave her a day at the spa."

From Derek, "I gave her a Tiffany ring because it was a nice thing to do, I'd heard, and because she deserves it."

Now, for the incensed:

From Ben: "No, I didn't get my wife a push gift. The only thing on my mind was making sure all the important stuff was taken care of. To add something so stupid on top of this earth-shattering event is ridiculous. The special gift is the gift of life and the creation of a human being. Now when I look back at those times I wouldn't' even recall the insignificant gift. Sounds like some baloney cooked up by a jewelers' association."

From Steve: "I agreed to fund the kids for 22 years each. That was my gift."

Peter L: "Not a big fan of the push present. A woman gives birth to a child and now she expects a gift??? While I have absolutely no idea what it's like to be pregnant, I don't know of any woman who has regretted it. The whole expensive jewelry thing doesn't sit well with me. That's what birthdays and anniversaries are for." [Thank God I didn't marry Peter, not that he asked.]

From Dave H: When Meryl was born I gave my wife a new bike chain for her road bike ($60 value) and installed it for her (free of charge.) It was the least I could do, since I had taken the chains off of all of her bikes around the end of month seven when she refused to give up riding. She promptly began riding two weeks after popping out our kid and since she was lighter than what she was used to, she could climb hills faster than I could. The good news is that she's now four months pregnant and she's slowing down more and more by the day, which enables me to seem faster."

And last but not least, the clueless:

Peter C: "Can't remember but I'm sure I gave something."

Matt: "Oops, was I supposed to give something? Why doesn't anybody let us know these things?

Jim: "Color me thoughtless. It never occurred to me."

John S: "I must be a bad husband. Three kids in four years and I didn't get Kim a gift for any of them!"

What's a guy to do?

Whether you agree with the sweethearts, the cads, or whether you're one of the clueless, consider yourself duly informed, and remember that nine months of pregnancy topped off by excruciatingly painful labor (not to mention sore nipples) is no picnic. It's always nice to be appreciated, especially when you're a new mom, and your hormones are screaming what the heck have I done??? I used to be a sexy, carefree vixen, for Pete's sake!!!
What's more, the jewelry you give your child's mother can be passed down to that child when he or she marries or turns 21, say. Best of all, you don't have to spend thousands. Many quality jewelry pieces are just as affordable as they are sentimental.

To help you get started, here are my favorite push presents:

o Pearl studs: Timeless and elegant, pearl studs go perfectly with bathrobes and spit-up. Plus, high quality freshwater cultured pearl studs cost as little as $30 or $40 a pair.

o Diamond studs: A little pricier than pearl earrings, sure, but diamond studs are a jewelry staple. That means your efforts won't be in vain; these sparklers will get a ton of use. And you can have a nice pair for well under $500.

o Birthstone ring: Lots of options and price ranges here depending on the stone and the setting. (Leave out diamond accents and you probably won't break the bank.) Remember, an elegant ring can be handed down to your little one; so make sure you get something of good quality that won't tarnish.

o Nantucket Basket: A gorgeous gold basket pendant necklace that holds the birthstones of your children, the Nantucket Basket necklace is meant to be added to with subsequent births. You might find the necklace pricey, but once you buy the pendant all you have to do is add the birthstones for each subsequent child. (Push present out of the way forever.)

o Mother and child pendant: The sterling silver version of this sweet circle pendant can be had for less than $50.

o Charm bracelet: The sky's the limit here, but the initial investment shouldn't be too bad. Like the Nantucket basket, this piece can be added to on special occasions. Charms are priced all over the place; it's up to you what to spend. Baby birthstone booties are a favorite charm of new moms, though.

o Pearl strand: Traditional and classic, a pearl necklace is a gorgeous choice. If you have a baby girl, she can wear it in the future on her wedding day as her something borrowed and as a reminder of how much her mother means to you. If price is an issue, akoyas and freshwater cultured pearl strands are the way to go. Save the Tahitians and South Sea pearls for when your stock splits or your patent gets approved. You get the point.

Go Shopping!

Okay, future fathers, now that you know about push presents, there is no excuse not to get your children's mother a little (or big) token of your appreciation. And, no, you don't have to be rich and famous like Matt Damon or Michael Douglas, or blow future college savings. There are lots of affordable gift options that don't cost a bundle. Do a little research on the Internet and you can find unique and meaningful jewelry that fits your budget. (Just make sure to have it gift wrapped. We hate when you forget that.) And don't worry too much that we won't like it. It truly is the thought that counts. Not so sure? I'll let you in on a little secret: If you really want a foolproof way to be a hero in your wife's eyes, change a diaper once in a while!

Urban Baby Clothes

Are you a cool dresser and do you want your baby to look the same? Urban baby clothes are great for making your new baby look stylish and trendy when you are out shopping, but they are also functional clothes for all seasons. Individual pieces can be put together to create a really trendy look whether you are in a city mall or playing in the park.

I always think of urban clothing as utility wear, yet flexible enough to be worn in any situation. Babies are really tough on their clothes, you may put bibs on them but they still manage to spread the mess everywhere. The fabric of all baby clothes should be soft and capable of withstanding numerous washes.

Urban baby clothes may be fashionable but they are adaptable. Wearing layers is a real advantage when kitting your baby out. When it is chilly, a trendy T-shirt over a long sleeves is ideal, if the weather warms up, then it is easy to strip one off. If it turns really cold, add a hoodie and your babe will be snug.

Urban clothes are hard wearing. Think of the stylish but practical, casual look that you wear around the city and transfer the idea to your baby. Cargo trousers will look as trendy on your baby as they do on you, stylish sneakers and boots are available in baby sizes. Hats, gloves and scarves will finish the outfit.

If you live in a small town rather than a city, you may find little choice in your local shops, but online there are a number of great stores stocking a wide variety of urban outfits and accessories to go with them.

Online auctions are a good place to look for clothing bargains. As good quality urban clothes are tough, children outgrow them so quickly they do not wear out. Selling them online means parents can make a little money to reinvest in a new outfit, while the buyer gets them at a fraction of the shop price. Look out for bundles of clothes, you may not like them all, but you can always put any you don't want back into the auction.

Of course there is no need to stop at clothes. Really cool bibs, bottles and fancy diapers bags are all available to complete the image. There are some great looking sling carriers for your little tot too, so shop around and turn your baby out as stylish as yourself!

Babydoll Lingerie

The word 'lingerie' has been derived from the French word 'linge', meaning washables. The word lingerie is used in order to refer to fashionable and luring ladies undergarments. There are various types of lingerie, each according to the style, personality and mood of the customer. The various types are-Cleopatra, cat woman, police woman, snow white, babydoll and others. Babydoll lingerie refers to a particular type of lingerie which is usually short and sleeveless and is dealt as a nightgown for women.

Baby doll lingerie gained popularity after the 1956 film named 'baby doll'. Carroll Baker was in the lead role. However there is a minute difference between baby doll lingeries and baby doll dresses. The basic difference is that these lingerie range between the upper thigh and the belly button in length, while baby doll dresses are slightly longer in length.

These dresses are of sufficient length so that it can be used as a daywear. Whereas, baby doll lingerie are specially designed so that it can be worn as a night garment. These dresses resemble the kind of dresses worn by infant dolls or babies so that the diapers can be easily changed. Nowadays, these types of dresses have been highly eroticized and are often used as a tool to enhance a woman's sex appeal.

These lingerie's of the present days are quite different from the ones of the 1950s and 1980s. Baby dolls are nowadays characterized with a small gown type apparel, usually made of translucent materials, like chiffon, nylon or silk to expose the legs and often the panties of the women. These lingerie are sufficiently short enough to expose the woman's undergarments, sometimes, including the breasts.

Baby dolls are often available with lace work done on them and many of them can be opened from the front and appears as a robe. So whenever there is a tendency of your boyfriend or husband losing that spark in the bed- girl, these can be of immense help.

But it is always very important to make the right decision while selecting the type of lingerie. Make sure it suits your body type and does not look odd or baggy. Thus lingerie should be shopped the way shoes are bought. All women like to buy shoes but it is always very important that it comes in the right size.

Similarly baby doll lingberrie should be of the right size. Even if lingerie attracts you but is not of your size, you should avoid buying it. One must be able to control such emotions. Buying the right stuff and carrying it off with dignity and charm will be able to work wonders for you. That's a challenge!

April Chudej is running an online lingerie store that carry many intimately sexy and babydoll lingerie styles at http://www.rightlingerie.com/babydolls.html

Potty Training Tips For Girls

Parenting Question

"My older daughter turns 4 in a few days and still has very little interest
in potty training. Initially, I was waiting for her to lead the way by showing
interest. Her sister was born when she was 27 months old, and I didn't feel that
either immediately before or after the birth was a good time for either of us to
start potty training. Time dragged on, until I started finding myself getting
angry about changing her dirty diapers just after she turned 3. One day, I
decided it was time for her to start using the toilet. The first few mornings,
she threw a tantrum about wanting a diaper, but then she accepted wearing
underpants. I made up a chart and let her put stickers on it for going in the
toilet. There was some success, but as time went by, the success rate declined.
She became more and more resistant to reminders to go to the toilet.

Earlier this year, our family decided to move house, and I could see this was
causing my daughter some stress. After talking to other moms, I decided to
remove the potty pressure--so I asked my daughter whether she would like to wear
diapers or underpants. For a while, she chose to go back to diapers. After three
weeks, she asked to go back to underpants. I tried be neutral about her
decisions and to keep my input low-key and supportive. My husband and I praised
her verbally when she succeeded. But the same thing happened.

I know my daughter is very bright, strong-willed, and likes to push my buttons.
She is also very sensitive and cautious. She is genuinely afraid of sitting on
toilets without a child's potty-seat on top, but we don't make her do that if
she doesn't want to. We either take her potty-seat with us to friends' houses,
or allow her to choose to wear pull-ups when we go out. Occasionally, we have
gotten so frustrated that we have coerced her (for example, no lunch until you
sit on the potty)--despite knowing that negativity should never be part of the
potty training process.

I did some research and found that the only way of eliminating resistance is to
eliminate whatever your child is resisting against. So I've tried being
completely neutral about the whole thing and to show no negative reaction to
'accidents'. Maybe I haven't tried long enough, but the accidents just seem to
go on and on. Eventually, I can't start showing disapproval and getting angry
again. This week, she is back in diapers because I am so tired of dealing with
the wet and dirty clothes (to be honest, the seemingly pointless resistance bugs
me much more than the laundry). Obviously, my behavior is enabling hers and
together we are creating this cycle, but I don't know how to change it. Help!"

Seeking Potty Training Tips for Girls

Positive Parenting Tip For Potty Training Girls

Dear Mom Seeking Potty Training Tips for Girls:

Phew! I am tired from just reading about your experience, so I can imagine how
frustrated you must be! The good news is that potty training tips for girls are
essentially no different from potty training tips for boys.

Firstly, good for you for doing some research on resistance. I do believe your
daughter is resisting--but not what you think she's resisting. She's actually
resisting growing up. You've brought a new baby into the home and, to an oldest
child who used to be the only child, this can be traumatic. Your daughter is
faced with the fact that she is no longer the baby. When this happens
(especially when you have two children close in age and of the same sex), the
oldest child may:

o Find a way to continue to act like the baby of the family by wearing diapers.

o Look for ways to keep you and your husband busy with her (and not her sister),
including the sticker chart and the back-and-forth resistance you are
experiencing with potty training. Negative attention is better than none at all.

Effective Potty Training Tips for Girls Who Resist

Consistently use these five effective potty training tips for girls who are
resisting and your potty training situation will turn around relatively quickly.
Be patient and plan for things to take some time (especially during the first
couple of weeks).

1. Have Faith that She WILL Learn - No matter how resistant your daughter
is to potty training, she will learn (everyone does). Potty training is one of
the key skills preschoolers need to learn, and they do learn it--be patient and
know that some learn slower than others.

2. Stick with Your Decision to Forgo Pull-ups and Diapers - As you know,
accidents (many of them) will happen. But when kids aren't given the opportunity
to experience the natural discomfort that comes with wet clothes--by using
pull-ups that soak it all up--this can prolong the time it takes for potty
training.

3. Stay Away from External Reward Systems - You don't need stickers to
reward your daughter for her success. The rewards of potty training should be
the internal rewards she experiences from feeling good about learning a new
skill that comes with growing up. Continue to encourage her when she remembers
to go to the washroom.

4. Get Her to Help Clean Up When Accidents Happen - Continue to not make
a big deal out of accidents. Let go of the many external reminders (verbal and
visual) all together. The next time she has an accident, have her help you do
the washing and thank her for it. Be consistent with this and allow her to learn
from the experience of wet pants.

5. Give Your Daughter More Responsibilities Around the House - The more
your daughter can do around the house to help, the more she'll feel good about
her position as "big sister". Look for ways for her to help you with the baby
and ways for her to help you out with the housework. Then thank her! Give her
the opportunity to pass on what she learns to her "little sister" and your
situation will improve even more. All this can go far in boosting her sense of
contribution, responsibility and her desire to grow up.

I also suggest finding a way to let go of your own anger around the potting
training issue. It appears you have a very strong-willed daughter on your hands
who is pushing back. The more anger you feel (even when not outwardly
expressed), the more she will resist and push back. Unfortunately, parents who
get into this type of emotional tug-of-war lose! If you start to see her
accidents as quality time you can have together doing laundry, you might feel a
shift. I would also highly recommend reading Chapter 7 ("Secret to Solving
Sibling Rivalry Once And For All") of my book When You're About to Go Off the
Deep End, Don't Take Your Kids with You
, so you can quickly nip any other
future sibling-related issues in the bud.

Baby Diaper Bags

There is a trend toward wearing personalized diaper bags, and some consumers are adamant about sporting the cool, and unique diaper bags of various styles and utility. There are a few different types of designer bags for both men and women, so choose wisely.

Trendy tote bags now adorn the shelves in the form of designer diaper bags. Originally tote bags were designed to carry things too large for a purse or normal handbag. Just a reminder that totes were used in Germany in the 1930's and was called German bread bags. So here is a bag that has transcended in functionality, from carrying bread to carrying diapers and doing so with style.

Where the tote follows form, the backpack follows function. Backpack style diaper bags are very practical. While pushing the jogging stroller or hiking you could be wearing a rugged backpack diaper bag loaded with baby essentials. Look for DadGear to emphasize these styles of diaper bags.

From whence did the messenger bag originate? It appears to have been built for speed and utility when on the move. The great messenger bag traveled with the Pony Express, Royal Mail Couriers in the United Kingdom and is famous with bicycle messengers in the business districts of New York and San Francisco. Talk about re-use and versatility, the messenger diaper bag is now a big favorite with the modern, mobile family.

Hobo diaper bags are urban chic, made to function like the bags carried by those train hopping travelers made famous in the movies or depression era USA. The hobo style diaper bags utilize a wide array of outer and inner pockets to carry all the required baby gear, accessories and gadgets

The mother of all diaper bags is the Mothership. When you have numerous children in your care and plenty of baby gadgets and gear to haul around, this large diaper bag fits the purpose.

Would you have thought that NASA and Star Wars would have contributed to the design concepts of the diaper bag? Yes they have, introducing the much needed escape pod concept to the diaper bag world. Escape pods can be kept in the Mothership or kept separately with just enough items for that quick trip to the store with baby.

Travel pods are multi functional; there is a separate pod for diapers, bottles and other food utensils. Keeps baby stuff in separate pods, which makes it easy to grab the right pod when you are in the car and can't pull out the main diaper bag.

Our mission at Baby Gadgets and Gear is to discover excellent designer diaper bags made to order for the modern family. We take extreme pride in finding the best diaper bags from the best designers, created for every occasion imaginable.

God Of Croats (Bog I Hrvati), documentary, English subtitles - Vatican's role in Holocaust

THE VATICAN'S HOLOCAUST is not a misnomer, an accusation, and even less a speculation. It is an historical fact. Rabid nationalism and religious dogmatism were its two main ingredients. During the existence of Croatia as an independent Catholic State, over 700000 men, women and children perished. Many were executed, tortured, died of starvation, buried alive, or were burned to death. Hundreds were forced to become Catholic. Catholic padres ran concentration camps; Catholic priests were officers of the military corps which committed such atrocities. 700000 in a total population of a few million, proportionally, would be as if one-third of the USA population had been exterminated by a Catholic militia (Avro Manhattan). The Croatian Holocaust This is the "hidden Holocaust" which, though well-known to scholars, is rarely, mentioned elsewhere, presumably because of the active involvement of the Catholic Church, which used the terror to win an estimated 200000 to 300000 new converts. The current lawsuit is on behalf of three groups of victims in the Croatian Holocaust: the Serbs, who were obliged to wear blue armbands marked with a "P" for Orthodox (Pravoslavac), the Jews, who had to wear the Star of David, and the Roma (whose extermination by the Nazis is called the Porajmos). The suit no longer involves the means by which the funds were obtained, only their disposal. However, no serious historian disputes the claimants' account of the origin of the "victim gold": Serbs, Jews ...

My, Oh, My. Season 3; Episode 9.

Didn't get the comments I asked for.. but that's okay.. Lets try a bit lower now, 7+ comments? Next episode, we're finally going to find out what happened during Selena's and Brian's conversation! Excited? Btw; this is my 99th video, and it's episode 9, isn't that cool?! :) Kiss, Me. I stopped my motorcycle from moving and turned the engine of once we reached the front door of the studio. Selena hopped off and took off the helmet I gave her. ''Thank you, Nick.'' She said and shot me a sweet smile. I leant forwards to kiss her, waiting for her to apply. Selena giggled and just pecked them, long enough to send sparks and chills down my spine, but still not long enough to satisfy my needs. ''Selena...'' I started. She just giggled. ''I'll see you later, Nick.'' She whispered into my ear before pecking my cheek. ''I'm picking you up.'' I told her while she walked away. Selena turned at the door and nodded, she blew a kiss before she left out of my sight and into the building. I started my engine again and drove home, I was incredibly tired. Once I reached my front porch, I got off of my motorcycle and dragged myself inside. My brother Joe was sitting on the couch, infront of the television and Kevin was sitting besides him. Demi walked from the kitchen to us. ''Hey Nick.'' She said while placing the popcorn bowl on the table and walking over to me to give me a hug. I hugged her back and then let go of her. ''Hey Demi, what are you doing here?'' I asked her while smiling. Demi ...

Bowel Incontinence and Kegel Exercises

Dealing with bowel incontinence can be highly embarrassing but thanks to adult diapers and other incontinence products you may be able to save your dignity. Other people will not be able to notice that you have an issue with bowel incontinence as these incontinence products are a great way to prevent you from having issues while you are trying to work or just enjoy your life.

When dealing with bowel incontinence it is important to schedule a meeting with your doctor to discuss various treatments that are available. This is the best way to figure out if there are surgeries or other things that can provide you with relief. Your doctor will like to talk to you about Kegel exercises. These are commonly used by pregnant women to help strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. This will give you greater control over your bowels and can prevent you from having as many issues with fecal incontinence. It also helps to understand more about incontinence and how bowel incontinence differs from other types of incontinence. Some forms of incontinence can be managed with adult diapers and other products where others need to have additional incontinence products and therapies.

The Kegel exercises are easy to perform and just about anyone will be able to retrain their bowels by using these exercises. What you need to do is focus on isolating your pelvic floor muscles. The best way to do this is by using the restroom and focusing on stopping the flow of urine. As you try to stop the flow of urine you will be able to see which muscles are responsible for helping you to release fecal matter as well. The goal of Kegels is to strengthen these muscles and performing contractions and releases during excretion can show you that it is working and the muscles are starting to get tighter.

One other method to focus on strengthening the pelvic muscles is by using some rubber gloves and sticking a finger up the anus and then tightening around it with the muscles as tightly as you can. You need to hold the contraction for about 5-10 seconds before releasing and then doing it again. How often do you need to do the exercises is based on your doctors opinion but the average person will do it about 10 times a day.

A great way to find out if the Kegel exercises are helping is by using biofeedback. This is a computer program that will give you feedback as you are working on the Kegel exercises. Your doctor can perform the biofeedback in order to give you the right type of results and help you focus on strengthening them more if it's not working.

Finding the right type of products to help you manage fecal incontinence will make your life much easier. Use this link to find incontinence supplies that work well at catching the fecal matter that is released from your body throughout the day. Adult diapers and other incontinence products can help you to maintain your dignity as they will not only provide you with a product to catch the fecal matter but they can also give you additional things that help to cover up the smell that may come with bowel incontinence.

In addition to using adult diapers or incontinence underwear you also need to consider incontinence bed pads. This will give you a way to maintain your dignity at night in the event that you end up having problems with incontinence at night. One quality product to consider using is Abena adult diapers. These are wonderful products to help manage several different types of incontinence and give you back your dignity!

PlasticPants - These Pants Can Be Comfortable, Too!

Plastic is often perceived as cheap but what prevents us from appreciating it as a clothing article is usually attributed to the fact that it is unbreathable and uncomfortable to wear. However, in the case of plasticpants, manufacturers are coming up with ways to make a pair become more comfortable and convenient to wear.

Making plastic comfortable

The purpose of wearing plasticpants is to prevent diaper leaks from staining your beddings and the rest of your clothes. These pants are also suitable for babies to prevent leaks and to keep the diaper in place when they are asleep. Some women also wear them during their time of the month over their panties to prevent menstrual blood from staining their sheets.

However, some people find that wearing plastic pants cause them a lot of discomfort. To address that problem, the pants are now available in different sizes to fit you properly. That way, you won't have to worry about it being too loose or too tight around the waist or thighs.

Convenient ways to wear plastic

Plasticpants are commonly worn or wrapped and secured over the diapers with elastic waistbands, thighbands, and Velcro straps. You can even find pull-up variants with elastic waistbands and thighbands to keep the diaper in place while making sure that you can put them on easily. There are also those made with high quality plastic that you can wash and reuse so you can save more.

The right size and the right fit

These pants provide you with a generally inexpensive way to protect your beddings and clothes from stains that can be tough to remove. To make plastic more comfortable to wear, make sure that you pick the right size that fits just right on your waist and thighs. Remember that something too tight can cut your circulation and can make you sweat and become uncomfortable.

Important information

Complete information on plasticpants is available at PickyGuide, the authority in free consumer advice. Access top-ranked, best-reviewed, and most competitively priced plastic pants in PickyGuide's recommended products section.

Things That Grown Women Don't Wear

Apart from diapers, you mean? Even then, that's questionable since we do use sanitary napkins...which...erm, some kids liken to a nappy. I know of one mother who actually said it was a nappy to her kids! I was like....argh, eugh, gross...but she took it in her stride, raising her eyebrows asking, "What do YOU suggest I tell them?"

I don't know...but I told my son that it was none of his business and if he ever dares to touch those...erm, stuff or take it out of the room, I will personally see that his PC game privileges are taken away from him. And he refuses to look into my personal drawer after that.

I am no clothes-horse in person and it was only a couple of hours ago that my aunt in Dubai called me to tell me that I was sloppy. In my personal opinion, I am 'carelessly casual'. Hey, can you blame me for being so when I work at home and have to consider changing in and out of clothes often because there's pee, poo, spit, vomit...and what-have-you-nots on them. I do have to take care of my kids, you know! Donald Trump is, unfortunately, out of my league and he's not my father, so, I have to take care of the kids and work at home at the same time, ok?

And since I work at home, is there a point to dress up in coats and skirts....what, to please my computer?

Anyway, in my personal opinion, there are several things that women shouldn't wear, under ANY circumstance.

ONE, pigtails. I used to have long hair and whenever I had to perform one of those 'ah-sam' (women who have to perform lots of house chores) work, I would tie pigtails. Now I don't. Why? Well, one of my cousins once asked me if I was trying to behave, act and look like a maid. If I walked side-by-side with my maid, they'd think I was the maid cause even my maid does not wear pigtails.

TWO, overcoats. In this friggin' weather?? Come on. But even if I was living in a very cold country, I would only wear an overcoat if someone threatened to shave my eyebrows off, ok?

THREE, checkered red and black skirts. ....and look like I was wearing a kilt? Come on. Besides, Kilts are for Scottish MEN, mind you, not sensible women.

FOUR, socks that goes up to the knee. You want to look girly, go for plastic surgery, dear. Wearing socks that goes up to your knee will only make you look like you're out of your mind, not younger.

FIVE, frilly frocks. Lord, only people who belong in an asylum will want to wear a frilly frock. Or are you pretending to be a princess in the making? Look, if you're 30 ot 40 years old, wearing a frilly frock makes you look like you don't know the difference between your nose and your knee.

For aging women, the best thing is to go for simple and casual stuff....back to the kind of clothes I would wear anytime of the day. As long as it is kept simple, nice, tidy, classy and not creased like you'd been snogging with your fave bloke behind the curtain, you should be safe.

Coming from a person who would rather be shot in the toe than wear high heels, you might want to consider whether you want to listen to me yap on about FASHION or not.

Adult Diapers - Incontinence in Women

Did you know women experience urinary incontinence or bladder leakage twice as often as men? The reason is mainly because of the differences between the male and female urinary anatomy. Urinary incontinence can range from annoying to debilitating, from a few drops to inability to hold a full bladder. Fortunately adult diapers and pads are readily available these days.

Women have many different types of urine loss. Stress, urge, overactive bladder, functional, and overflow are the most common. Some women suffer from combination or mixed types of incontinence. Transient incontinence is another type, however, it is temporary.

Stress incontinence is leakage of small amounts of urine while coughing, sneezing, exercising, and even laughing. Stress incontinence is treatable and can be eliminated, usually with surgery. Typically pads with adhesive strips work very well for stress incontinence until such time as medical treatment is available.

Urge incontinence is unexpected leakage of large amounts of urine occurring at anytime, even while sleeping. Urge incontinence may be caused by nerve problems or damage resulting in bladder spasms or contractions. Many diseases as well as stroke and injury may cause urge incontinence.

Overactive bladder is a condition where bladder muscles contract without warning. Urinating often and urgently as well as a strong sudden urge to urinate followed by gushing and leakage are often symptoms of an overactive bladder.

Functional incontinence may be caused by medical issues that result in an inability to think rationally, communicate, or move independently preventing the person from reaching a toilet.

Although rare in women, overflow incontinence occurs when the bladder doesn't empty properly, causing leakage of small amounts of urine.

Stress and urge incontinence frequently take place together in women. This combination or mixed incontinence is the most common type of lack of bladder control in women.

Transient incontinence is temporary bladder leakage due to medication, urinary tract infection (UTI), even sever constipation.

Each type of urine loss can be managed effectively with adult diapers when medical treatment is not an option or the condition is temporary. Disposable adult diapers are available in several styles. Disposable underwear or pull-ups are perfect for light to moderate urine loss. diapers or briefs are more absorbent and ideal for moderate to heavy urine loss and have Velcro tabs to hold secure. Belted undergarments are just that: a belt with a pad. Pads with adhesive strips are good for light bladder leakage.

Purchasing incontinence products online is discreet, private, secure, and can be less expensive than traditional retail sources.

http://www.DiscreetAdultDiapers.net is your online source for all your incontinence needs: adult diapers or briefs, underwear or pull-ups, pads, and personal cleansing products.

Maternity Shopping Tips For the Expectant Mom

Shopping for maternity clothes can be one of the most dreaded tasks of becoming a new mom. The unknown of how your body can change, and how fast presents women with a dilemma on what size and what silhouette will be flattering for them. There are a few key attributes when shopping for maternity clothes that each and every consumer should consider:

  1. How long can I wear this garment? Women can go through various sizes during pregnancy depending on one's body type and stage of pregnancy...the key is to purchase maternity tops and bottoms that are versatile and can change with you. The new trend (and to be honest, the more affordable trend) is to find stylish maternity tops and dresses that you can wear before, during and after pregnancy should you choose. Pants tend to be more difficult to last from start to finish, but there are various options such as the Belly Band that will help you get more wear out of both your normal clothes as well as your maternity clothes.

  2. How much do I want spend? Unfortunately maternity clothes are not the cheapest attire to purchase, and can vary significantly in size depending on the manufacturer. Set a budget and stick to it as the likelihood you will wear these stylish maternity clothes for only 9 months at a time is pretty high. Sign up for newsletters and e-mails from those baby boutiques or maternity boutiques you may think about purchasing from. Most of the time they offer coupons for your first purchase and will notify you in advance of a sale. Don't hesitate to ask if they have any coupons available...you may be surprised at the answer!

  3. Where should I shop? Maternity clothing this day and age is becoming a little easier to find. Large department stores, high end boutiques, and online maternity boutiques are various places you can search for the perfect maternal attire. Each type of business provides a different selection and tends to cater to a different clientele; however, the online maternity boutiques tend to provide more of a one stop shopping environment for those that are willing to try on after you buy. The key to purchasing maternity clothes online is to find a retailer that is willing to offer FREE return shipping on all unused, tagged garments within a reasonable amount of time after the purchase. You don't want to find yourself in a position where you have purchased that beautiful designer maternity top and find out that it barely fits one arm let alone your entire belly, and you paid $100 for it! The key here is that the boutique is offering for you to return any clothing that may not fit to your liking, so there is little to no loss if something does not fit properly. This method will likely provide you with a larger selection and will give you the ease of trying on maternity clothes in your own home.

These are the three key steps to ensure your experience with maternity shopping is enjoyable. Simply search for mommy and me boutique (a boutique that will allow for you to purchase both maternity and baby items) or maternity boutique to begin your search for your stylish maternity attire, and remember to always ask (specifically the owner) about special offers and discounts.

Throwing A Fun Filled Dora The Explorer Party

Throwing a Dora the Explorer party should be fun, for you and your guests! Send out your invites two to three weeks in advance. If you can't find the right invites, make them. Use bright paper and have on the front that Dora invites them to explore a birthday party with her! Find or make a map to your home inside with your child.

For a party of mostly young girls, get some old dress up clothing. Have them ready when the guests arrive. They can pick and choose and wear their new clothing during the party. If you don't have any good older clothing, head to a local thrift shop, they should have a lot of items for not that much. Girls adore dress up.

For more Dora the Explorer ideas for your party, have the kids make some bracelets. All you need are some pony beads and some string. Make sure that you have some extra help on hand for this activity.

Those that want something a bit more extravagant get some small backpacks and flll them with items that Dora the Explorer carries around. Don't forget the Map! Or get one larger one and fill it with interesting ideas. Have the kids pass the backpack around and have them take one object from it. Consider having the children go on an adventure using a map to find different activities throughout your backyard.

For a great Dora the Explorer party, you look into getting a Dora the Explorer piñata. If don't want to go with a piñata, read a Dora the Explorer story to everyone while they have cake! Most of all make sure that everyone has fun and has a great time! With this theme of a party, it shouldn't be any problem at all!

Forming a Strong Bond With Your Baby

Nothing is better than bonding with your baby. There is a feeling of joint ship and honor in being the mom to a baby boy or girl. It makes one feel full. But there are two different types of attachment that you need to be aware of. There is secure and insecure.

Naturally the secure bond is the better one. This leads to a secure relationship with a sense of trust between the mother and child and stuff. But the insecure bond can lead to all sorts of troubles later on in life. This is true as the experts say it is. But it is essential for both mom and child.

So, mom, how can you form a stronger bond with your baby? It may not be hard. But you have to take care of yourself and your child. It is hard. Mothers who don't get enough sleep can be restless and angry and resentful and have a hard time with their challenges.

You can actually strengthen the bond with your child by spending adequate time away from your child to make the bond stronger than it was before.

Feeding times and nap times are a couple of the essential bonding opportunities with your baby. These happen many times throughout the course of the day.

What is important is that your baby know you will be there when he or she needs you to be. That means responding in an adequate time to when your baby cries for you. You need to make sure that baby's needs are met. That means feeding her on schedule and at enough times.

Playtime is also helpful for developing the relationship between baby and parent. Look into your baby's face and take note to help make the lasting connections that are so important.

Naturally, you need to pay attention not just to the short-term needs of your baby, but also to the long-term effects of developing your bond with your baby.

Baby Shower on a Budget

Not only are the gifts affordable but the expectant mother will end up with some very eclectic items.

PURE PAMPERING

When a woman reaches about the seventh or eighth month of pregnancy, the cute maternity clothes are no longer "cute". The rounded stomach is in the way, sleeping and getting comfortable is nearly impossible, and all the woman can think of is "getting the pregnancy over with.

Obviously, nature has an amazing way of preparing women to give birth but while in that stage of pregnancy, she feels miserable. Instead of or in addition to throwing a standard baby shower, why not throw a "pamper party" for the soon-to-be mom. For this shower, have everyone bring something just for the expectant mother.

This might include some comfortable lounge clothing, chocolate covered cherries, takeout Chinese food, you name it, do it. She will feel so much better about herself and gain a much better outlook about the hard work of labor ahead of her.

PREGNANT GUESTS

When hosting a baby shower, to create a ton of laughs while also making the expectant mom feel good about her situation, have every guest come "pregnant" - men and women. A simple bed pillow rolled up and tied around the waist with an oversized shirt will do the job. While this is fun for an all-girl shower, it is even a better theme for a coed shower.

BABY TOYS

Rather than baby clothing, have each guests bring a special baby toy that could be used in the child's first three years of life. The variety will be wonderful and the cost savings to the parents huge. Not only is this baby shower theme excellent for a first baby but it also works very well for a second or third baby, as well as adopted children.

MEMORIES

For a special baby shower, create one filled with memories. In this case, each guest would bring a gift made in or representing the year the baby is born. For example, one guest might create a scrapbook with newspaper and magazine articles, another guest might bring a new toy developed that year, and another guest a picture frame with the year as part of the design.

BABY'S FIRST

With this theme, each family member or friend would choose something to represent the baby's first big event. As an example, a pewter fork and spoon for the first solid food, a pair of baby shoes for the first attempts of walking, a tooth fairy box for the first lost tooth, a silk or satin case for a lock of hair from the first haircut, or perhaps a cake gift certificate for his or her first birthday.

NURSERY TIME

If the theme of the baby's nursery is known, the shower could be specific to the decorations of that room. For instance, if the nursery were done in Walt Disney, then lamps, blankets, sheet, bibs, sleepers, diaper bag, and so on, all focusing on Disney would be on the gift list.

NAMING A BABY

For a fun baby shower filled with laughter and some very interesting names, create a theme around naming the baby. Throughout the day or evening, the guests will be asked to wear nametags of the name for a boy and girl they like best.

In addition, each guest will be given an envelope with anywhere from five to nine letters, chosen at random. Their mission, if they choose to accept it, is to unscramble the letters to come up with a baby name. This theme is wonderful and creates a light environment and some very strange names.

If the weather is expected to be nice and there is adequate room outdoors, set up a tropical oasis, complete with lights strung up outside, floating candles in the pool, Tiki torches, Hawaiian leis, and so on. Have beach music playing in the background and for food, serve ham, fresh fruit, barbecue, fruit punch, etc. This provides a relaxing environment for the expectant couple as they prepare for the big day.

AROUND THE CLOCK

For this baby shower theme, each guest would be assigned a gift that would be used at a specific time of day. For example, 7:00 a.m. could be a baby bottle, 8:00 a.m., burping pads, 9:00 a.m., baby food and spoon, 1:00 p.m. baby blanket for naptime, 5:00 p.m., bib and so on.

LIBRARY TIME

In this case, every guest would be asked to bring a book for the baby, ranging from those appropriate for six month to three years of age. Since books are so affordable and the variety so great, guests could bring one book, three books, or a book along with another gift.

SAFETY FIRST

With this baby shower theme, each of the items brought would be things to support child safety. This might include a non-slip bathtub, warm hooded bath towels to keep the little one warm, cabinet and drawer stops, power outlet plugs, soft toys, etc.

SPRINKLE SHOWER

If the expectant couple will have more than one shower, this would be an excellent option. For this theme, rather than guests buying large items, they would bring a sprinkling of small items that are used on a daily basis.

As an example, this would include things like shampoo, powder, diapers, baby wipes, lotion, socks, pacifiers, diaper cream, and so on. Mothers are always running out of supplies. With this theme, she would have a nice supply for months while enjoying the convenience and cost savings.

As you can see, when it comes to baby shower themes, the possibilities are limitless. As mentioned briefly, the most important factor to make any baby shower a success is to create a treasured memory. Yes, the shower is for the baby but it is also for the parents to share in their joy and help them celebrate the miracle of birth or adoption.

Hollywood, Smith & Grant, How to Say Goodbye Concert at the Greek w/ Sam Botta LiveFearless.com

Let go of the noose of being what others need you to be, which makes them feel better about themselves, yet if they were to be open and free to encourage you to nurture your own wings and soar, it would be that other person that would be the closest and most personal, most celebrated audience of you, the butterfly that has flown from the cocoon, that other person would recognize the joy of such seeming sporadic flight but it would be the colors, glistening in the sun over the warm, shining, happy green grass, rising to the blue sky, ignoring any thought of clouds, as, for the butterfly, timing is important, and time is everything. Sure the life of a butterfly is quite short, but to that butterfly, a day is like a lifetime, because it is a full lifetime, and so in the most precious gift that you and I have: TIME ~ Sam Botta Words: "Tell me when the time we had slipped away Tomorrow turned to yesterday And I don't know how Tell me what can stop this river of tears It's been building up for years For this moment now Here I stand Arms open wide I've held ya close Kept ya safe Till you could fly Tell me where the road ahead is gonna bend And how to harness up the wind And how to say goodbye Tell me why Why does following your dreams Take you far away from me And I knew that it would Tell me how to fill the space you left behind And how to laugh instead of cry And how to say goodbye Here I stand Arms open wide I've held ya close Kept ya safe Till you could fly Tell me where the ...

Beaded Wedding Dresses - Items With Irresistible Exquisiteness

Beaded wedding dresses are wonderful alternatives for wedding gowns that are decorated by jewelry. For girls who hold classy fashion taste yet tight economic budget, they will be glad to let exquisite, yet much cheaper beaded wedding dresses make desirable transformations on their look. Sheen on these gowns feels rather elegant.

It's hard to know the person who came up with the idea of decorating a wedding dress by beads. Also, it's hard to figure out the time when lots of fashion-conscious girls began to accept beaded dresses. But what can be affirmed nowadays is that beaded bridal gowns often trigger a big trend once hitting the shelves. They are worn by brides in different ages. Delicateness and lightness make them fit different wedding themes. On the grand ceremony held in the Westminster Abbey on April 29, Kate Middleton and her younger sister Pippa Middleton both wore dresses with beads. As a front-runner, the gifted designer Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen absolutely reveals a new tendency in the 2011 fashion industry.

Referring to reasons why wedding dresses with beads are so popular, fineness on them should take a crucial role. Beads can be made from various materials. Crystal is exactly one of them. Seeming clear and luxurious, crystal wedding dresses are items with high search rate on Google recently. They are unlike tired or ruffled ball gowns. Luster on beadwork and fine texture on fabric make them feel much heavier and more gorgeous.

Bead is a popular accessory not only on wedding gowns. Beaded wedding veils, sashes, belts and shoes are all sought-after items on the current market. A beaded wedding veil accents the tasteful sense on a beaded bridal dress. Nevertheless, it will not be a wise idea to put on too much flare. Do not wear a beaded sash when beads have been used onto your dress and veil. Likewise, even though crystal shoes seem irresistibly beautiful, make sure they will not overdo the overall delicate sense.

At the mention of beadwork, most people think of the color of white. But undoubtedly, this pretty accessory is available not only on white. In such a cozy season, red beads definitely become finishing touches that make chic wedding dresses more gorgeous. Surprising appeal is created when a pure color collides with a sparkling hue. In countries like China, red symbolizes bliss and fortune. But on western-style wedding dresses, red beads are finishing touches for a dress. As one of the most distinguished wedding dress designers, David also expresses his classy taste by red and white bridal gowns.

Like any other motif, beaded wedding gowns in red and white are fully explored. Necklines such as halter, one-shoulder and sweetheart are all used. Conventional a-line and ball gown are stilled focused. But modern girls dare to be different with mermaid or sheath dresses. Besides, magic power is discovered when white meets red. Visual illusion helps fat girls look great with red and white wedding gowns. Red beadwork or sash successfully draws people's attention away from those chubby curves.
